I have been 100% white-french for the the past 46 years . Now since last week, I am 76% Portugese... my mother confessed. There is so much more family secrets we can imagine.
Great video! I took the Ancestry test about two-and-a-half years ago. Came back 67% indigenous American 16% Spaniard and everything else is like 4% 3% going down. All this time I thought I was Hispanic. I was able to connect with a niece of mine, that my sister gave up for adoption over 43 years ago. Now I'm trying to locate her mom, who I have not seen in over 20 something years. I just sent off my 23andMe DNA test hoping new doors will open up. Thanks for the video, I'm sure it encourages a lot of people out there like myself.
So hispanic just means that you're from a Spanish speaking nation. Has nothing to do with dna. For example Mexicans are Hispanic because Mexico is a Spanish speaking nation. On their dna tests they will usually have large percentages of Native American with Spanish, and African results as well. Similar to yours. This trend is seen in majority Latin American countries. Large percentage of Indigenous peoples, then Spanish, african, etc.
Hispanic technically just means you have mixed Native American and Spanish/European DNA. Hispanic is the just the term that is use to describe people who are primarily of Mayan+Aztec+Spanish admixture.
@@perkaholk2602 my heritage gave me completely incorrect results like Italian and Balkan and quarter English and such when I know I’m not any of those. May I mention Italian was like 22.9%? It’s all crap. However ancestrydna actually spoken the truth and big suprise, Italian and all that wasn’t there. It was all what I expected
I've downloaded my raw data from 23&me but for whatever reason I cannot load it onto my heritage. I'm so bummed. I cannot figure out why it won't let me.
I uploaded my raw data from 23andme to Familytreedna and it came back totally different that 23and me Weird. Plus even though I paid to unlock to find relatives it just doesn't load. Really annoying since I am searching for answers about my paternal side I didn't know was my paternal side
I uploaded my raw dna files 23&me, and Ancestry to MyHeritage. I'm on night 5 since I did this. They said to wait 5-7 days. Is it normal to wait this long? I thought it would go faster than this.
I took my test with Ancestry then tried to transfer the results to my My Heritage subscription. This did not work and I am a/ unable to locate my raw data, and b/ unable to get any assistance from My Heritage in sorting the mess out. What should I do to try and get what I paid for (i.e. my DNA results transferred to My Heritage from Ancestry where I took the test)?
Make a conclusion based on phenotypes in the region and the time your family came to the place they are now. There's not much information on how to breakdown Eastern European dna as I've seen looking through a lot of videos on dna results nor studying dna groups, the technology likely hasn't gotten there yet. History and making connections on your own is your best bet along with looking at country-specific phenotypes, how to find these phenotypes is by googling Soviet Union police phenotypes
That site doesn't have a large data base, so your best option would be Ancestry DNA. 23and me is good, but ancestry is better because you can see your matches trees if they have one

Thank you, I’ve been dying to take another one at a different website!
I'm ashkenazi jewish too! I'm half. I want to try out the myheritagedna test. I feel like I've had more matches on 23 and me. Best of luck to you 😁😁
My husband is 76% Jewish. His mom is 100% and his dad is 50%.
Ancestry and 23andme results seems to be very similar. I did Ancestry and Myheritage and I think Ancestry seems to be more accurate
Not for me, they where very different
@@Zan4833 results ?

@@Zan4833 Dam why do you think that happend
@@Zan4833 cause for the most part people always get the same results from different dna providers
Don’t do it, read there privacy policy, they say once you submit your DNA results they can sell it and use it however they want.
Use it to do what, and why would this bother you?
@@MrDanielknew it’s only bother you if they use it in criminal and police situations.

I do not see this option on my mobile for Ancestry.
Would the percentage change if you upload from 23 and me instead of ancestry?

Does anyone know how to break down ethnicity in 29% Eastern European but I’m curious in what countries exactly

I took the the myheritage dna test in 2018 and still nothing frome my father's side of the family

My upload has been going on for 2 days now, I’m super confused lol
That doesn't sound right!
Can I upload my dna from AncestryDNA to 23and me ?
I wish we could but unfortunately these 2 companies do not allow that
When can we upload to 23andme from my heritage
My upload process takes several hours? This is'nt normal, or? 🤔
That does not sound normal. It did not take me long to upload.
Adding distracting sounds is a nasty trend, unless you want to make sure nobody hears your message, brain goes to the music...
How long it take to get the email from the dna raw
So basically you’re German European I guess? That’s pretty cool.
How yo upload myheritage to ancestry
Why you care more for the lower percentage than the big one your are european not jowish but I can tell you very upset that you not full jowish
18,912 matches?
have fun now that 23andme is being hacked regularly, idiotic move truly
lol fools
