Amazing day out there guys! You def caught a great day w bo wind. Winds predominantly blow into that main lake wall, makes it hard to stay off of. Great work!
Very good fishing up there! Are you going to UB? The lake at UB is actually decent Largemouth fishing but I wouldn't keep anything out of there lol. On a boat Lake Erie and the Upper Niagara are ridiculous as you can see in the video, fishing them form shore can be a challenge. It's often hit-or-miss but there are spots like Harbor Park, Union Canal, Black Rock Canal and the State Parks on Grand Island that can be good if you hit them at the right time. Tifft Nature Preserve is decent fishing year round, fish get in there from Lake Erie. Small Boat Harbor is decent ice fishing. It's very challenging to learn (I'm still a rookie) but the Lower Niagara is a magnificent fishery if your willing to put in the time to learn that river and the techniques to fishing heavy current. Steelhead run in all Creeks during the fall, winter and spring. Buffalo and the surrounding neighborhoods are also full of small ponds (the whole city was built on a wetland) that are decent largemouth fishing, most of the ponds are privet but there are a dozen or so that are public if you put in the time to find them.
