      I'm not into the religious stuff, but I agree that in a nutshell, she just wants to be free to do whatever she wants without being obligated to get permission or forgiveness from someone.
      She's in the entertainment industry, which IS a form of "witchcraft" (which is simply science used for the purpose of manipulating the thoughts and behavior of others) and most Hollywood "witches" adhere to the motto/philosophy of *"do as thou wilt."*
      Hard to *"do as thou wilt"* when a person has to ask for permission or forgiveness to do something.

      Good morning
      Bored what is bored really you have been to puppet shows and seem the circus ,and old as she is and everyone else who has agreed with your comment ,bored it takes two in a relationship ,movies ,lectures can be boring ,that's very immature .As humans we are not here to entertain that's why we communicate what's on our minds .To each other ,She and others haven't respected God's arraignment yet still want to be free basically.

      Drake Hoe well I’m not going to judge my sister. And in no way am I insinuating that you are. However there could be a number Of reasons why she may be like this. It could stem from child hood, something she may have experienced or has seen in her parents, etc.. it could be a number of things... however, knowing this, any wise man knows that this sister is not a good investment as far as a long term relationship. She enjoys the newness of a situation and that’s where the ball stops lol

      Unfortunately, since God created woman for man, in the beginning, and Jesus said let every man have his own wife and every woman her own husband, marriage is, indeed, made for everyone with a s*x drive. I didn't always think this way but I know better now.
      I, too, am married, have grown up and realize that the world's way of doing things, as it relates to relationships, is very messed up which is why many will leave this Earth, single and all alone without having experienced the love, solace, joy and comfort which marriage brings. That is so very unfortunate.

  • @VolleyballAddict521
    @VolleyballAddict521 5 років тому +30

    I’m going to say this. This is nothing against what Ms. said.
    Life is what YOU make it! Get to know YOURSELF. Once you know YOURSELF. Then you know the type of person who matches your flavor. Everyone you meet is a reflection of YOU. That’s why you meet different people, same problems. & Too many people get in relationships without being WHOLE, out of convenience, loneliness, “finding themselves” (how do you find yourself outside of yourself), “testing waters”, and then give “advice” which deters others from relationships and makes folks feel like they can’t be successful in it since the masses are messing up.
    I’m here to let you know you CAN be successful in a relationship. Just Be honest with where you are. Take a season where it’s just you and YOU. No you don’t have to wait until you’re 40/50 to find out who you are. The only advice anyone should give anyone in my opinion about relationships is get to know yourself first. Focus on becoming. Heal, forgive, laugh, have fun. Become the person you want to be. Walk in purpose. Understand the POWER of your mind beliefs & tongue. That’s the real relationship. Then everyone else around you (romantic & platonic) will reflect that wholeness and love. If you desire marriage the right one will walk into your life and you will be with your best friend for life. Be equally yolked or be miserable.
    My 2 cents.

    Marriage when done right with proper intent is very rewarding. Some of the same compromises you have to make in a long term relationship are some of the same compromises one make in a marriage. Marriage or long term commitment isnt for everyone, the same as having kids, certain career choices, etc. aren't for everyone. So although I don't completely agree with her, I respect her opinion.

    • @lw3554
      @lw3554 5 років тому +2

      Prissy having kids and marriage used to go hand in hand. Without kids at her age she would just be trying to live out a fantasy. Whats the point of marrying somebody at age 50 and locking yourself down to them? Research marriage, it’s actually more about the kids and obligations and duty than it supposed to be about two lovebirds.

    • @cinemeleon2808
      @cinemeleon2808 2 роки тому

      @@lw3554 I've seen where two old people have come together countless times, and it clearly had not a damn thing to do with having any kids at their age. Even if she has already had kids that are grown and living on their own, a woman still marries of re-marries. What two people agree to get married to do is between those two people.

      She's not stunning. She's average looking which is how most of us look and there's nothing wrong with being average looking. She was slightly above average when she was younger but age wins in the end for every living human being.
      Another reason why we want to make better decisions when we're younger. The fact is as we grow older, love opportunities decrease, as they should. It's nature's way of telling us we should be settled or married by a certain time in our lives. Such is life.

      She did the right thing. Your paths diverged. She did not want to stay on a path that did not take her to where she wanted to go. I hope that she found love with a man who shared her goal of marriage and/or children. A lot of women settle for the latter while pining for the former as well. I hope you were honest with the next woman you got involved with and let her know up front that you are anti-marriage. Work is an absolute necessity of life for the vast majority of people. Some people love what they do for work. Some people don't, but they make the most of it. Marriage is what you make it. Yes, it can be like work, but for a lot of married folk, it' worth the sacrifice. If you're not willing to make that sacrifice, just be honest up front. Don't string some woman along for years, holding out the promise of marriage, knowing it is not your intent. That's dishonest and deceitful.

  • @rosieschweebie

    Its too bad she feels this way. I'm 52 years old, and I've been married for over 30 years to a wonderful man. He's not perfect-never was, but neither am I. I just know that when a man and woman get married, whether its at a court house, outside, or at a church, it says something to each other, and to the world about how serious and committed he is to you. Kellita Smith definitely can have her own opinion and marriage is not for everyone. But, as for me, it was one of the best decisions I made. For Better or for worse. In sickness or in health. For richer or poorer. Till death do us part. If you Both, and I mean both of you (not just one) will continue to hold on to your vows, it'll work. And when you get tired, bored and want to stray.... ask God to remind you of the day you fell in love. Its not up to your spouse to make you happy. Happiness is a choice.

    At one point in time when I used to come watch this interview of her, I was scratching my head thinking, “I think Auntie a little confused about this topic of marriage. 🥴” But as times goes by and I get older into my 30’s, I’m starting to understand her perspective. I can say now, I get it and I agree. Marriage is a constant union to work at and it’s not for the faint at heart.
    I’ve been single for 4 years, and I’m what some will call a “modern day woman”. I work in corporate, I take care of myself as an adult should do, and I do well for myself. To be honest, a lot times us as women just want the d*ck, all that other stuff that comes along with a man is burdensome. That’s why I remain single, travel and do the hobbies I love. And on those lonely nights I might call my PPE or DOD, once the deed is done tell his ass to go home. 🤷🏾‍♀️
    Ladies, do what works for YOU. Always will be a supporter of Kellita Smith. ✨💕

    Not surprised by her thoughts on marriage...Truth of the matter is what many don't know marriage is nothing but a business. What people need to be concerned and really taught about is the truth about #RolesAndRelationships that way you will be able to make better clear cut decisions and avoid many preventable problems. Do you agree or what are your thoughts?

      I was literally thinking the same thing during the interview. Props to her for keeping it real, but there is so much more to it. I view every relationship as a business and in every business, there are (or at least should be) agreed upon rules and regulations that make the business work and run smoothly. Marriage is a partnership. Its a commitment to a commitment. Have the conversation, define the roles of each person, and go with it. Periodically evaluate and just try to always improve.
      I will say, usually people with her mindset have been jaded due to past experiences. Maybe the disappointment seems for unrealized expectations. Cause when marriage works, it is beautiful but the 2 parties involved need drive and desire to want it to work.
