- Bealville to Mojave (Tehachapi) in 4k - May 2024 - Manifests galore, Grain, intermodal & a local. It was a good first day at Tehachapi, but almost everyday at Tehachapi is a good one with both BNSF and UP action with UP owning the tracks. Due to the fact that Tehachapi is basically one mainline with a bunch of sidings, there was only one rolling meet and that was in the Mojave area. Thanks for another great video. You are right about Tehachapi and so many great spots to watch trains and film from. A bit late watching this one after being away for the weekend and did want to rush it in the hotel room this morning. Thank again.
Thanks Richard. I’ll try to email you this week about Wyoming. Short version is that I would come back, but probably not spend time at Sherman hill. I would go and try the powder river basin again though as I didn’t understand it until the afternoon on Saturday. I should have basically just chased trains from antelope coal mine road till the end of where the tracks leave hilight road. There are some other good spots though.
