I’ve ordered from him before it was great the plants were packaged beautifully, and they even gave me a free, baby banana plant, which is doing very well.👍

I too have made a few orders over last several yrs, VERY satisfactory experience, everything came thru to N. Cali. in good shape, reasonable prices. (Green Dreams)
Jabos and certain types of avocadoes I just can't find in CA.
(recommend ordering when it's well below 100F for the shipping period just in case they get stuck in a hot delivery truck)

My first food forest plants were from Green Dreams at Pete’s house. 4 years later and we still drive the 90 minutes, to the new property now, for the quality plants. Great show, Paul!

Pete, your stance on coexisting with squirrels is praiseworthy♥. Thanks for not killing them as many of my neighbors do.

Paul, thanks for featuring Pete, he’s an amazing Cat! I’ve been purchasing landscape materials from his company and he’s got it really happening! Also, his videos are so informative and inspiring.

I got several truck loads of mulch from my local City and made beds this Spring and it worked great. TONS of funky fungi popping up every time it rains. It should be even more decomposed by next Spring, and only require a bit of fresh mulch to top things off from time to time.

I've watched 2 figs die slow deaths in the ground over the past couple years... I'll have to try again in pots next time. Everyone makes figs sound so easy. I'm glad I'm not the only one whos struggled with them.

A neighbor took down a few oak trees and their huge grapefruit tree died a few years later. I grow a lot of citrus in shade, it definitely helps.

Great video! Miracle fruit is another plant that doesn't follow the rules. I stuck it in the ground a few years ago thinking it'd stay a nice small shrub...it's now 7' tall and I have to prune it back regularly. Does well in full sun, zone 9b here

Pete is right with the mulch! Chip drop is a great organization, I usually get a dump truck load every 6 months or more! It breaks down and is conserving water!

About 90% of my fruit trees & other things have come from GREEN DREAMS NURSERY in SPRING HILL, FLORIDA 💯🌱
Most of them were delivered to my home in Deland. I really wanted to go & explorer so I did !!!
The staff are amazing & my big ol Great Dane Sage & I had the great pleasure of meeting Pete. He makes you feel right at home🌻
He was more than happy to help me pick out some great trees, bamboo, pollinators & a whole lot of other goodness 😊.
    I love that he's totally organic 💯
I will take that drive again very soon just to walk around the nursery & see how it's grown & hopefully be able to see Pete 🌱
I told him I was in zone 9A, 😆 I don't know what I was thinking I'm in 9B😅 Pete probably thought I was crazy with my choices of plants 🌿

Doin it big. I think it's crazy that people waste their entire yard for grass. You could be growing fruit in it! I've grown fruit in my yard all the way up to frozen MN with 60 below temps in the winter. There are very well producing apples called Norland that do great up there. Also grew some plums up there too and there's wild harvestables all over the forest if you know what to look for. Currently living in the tropics. It's an entirely different situation. All different types plants and methods of growing, but I love it all. You can grow food anywhere unless you live at the North Pole.

I agree with growing citrus in part shade. They do better under my larger mango tree. You can grow peppers under that too if you want to keep psylids away organically

I wondered why you hadn't done his place yet, I thought maybe you had something against him, it is good that you waited until he got his new nursery opened up because it is so much nicer and more interesting. His home nursery is a continual work in progress, actually his new place may turn out also being a continual work in progress. Thanks Paul.
