I love these types of videos because they show you how to customize anything, and not be a slave to designers and pay their prices. Great job!
You can use Mod Podge to put on the sequins and then brush more Mod Podge over them when you're done. I used it to apply sequins to my car's bumber decal and it's stood up to all four seasons for the past 4 years. Not one sequin has dropped off.

Liquid fusion is a good glue also, nontoxic and no strong smell. For the glitter on the shoe you may want to look into backfist customs at the glue on that site. You apply and heat. Making it a permanent seal. This were very cute. Love the color.

Those are cute. I like the way you did the glitter vs using the glue and then shaking the glitter on. This way doesn't made it look all clunky.

When I do this method I always seal them. I wouldnt wear them in the rain however any water left from rain can splash onto shoe not to mention I always have the worst luck when it comes to spilling my coffee and even had ice cream fall on my shoes before. I guess it's up to each person if sealing is important or not and with me and my grand baby I definitely seal every shoe I glitter. Love ur vid! ❤ I use Aleene's "Gloss Finish" acrylic sealer spray.

E6000 is very strong when it comes to fumes. I think Gem Tac works just as well maybe better

Thank you!! Actually any glitter works! Any brand! Recollections has a beautiful line of glitter in a lot of beautiful colors. They’re more expensive also. For this project, there’s really no difference when I use Walmart glitter vs a more expensive brand however. Thank you for watching! 😊
You just add more glitter like you just keep putting more layers on if you want more on them

Is it possible to remove an application of the mixture if you don't like the glitter color and re-apply wth a different mixture to the same pair of sneakers?

What about sealing the glitter so it does not come off all over the place .. seal it with hair spray or fabric spray glue..
I would never use hair spray I would just put more mod lodge over the top of it or any type of sealer that can go on fabric
Have you ever added vinyl to your shoes? I have a request for glitter but not sure how to add the vinyl where it will stay.
Use a mini iron; they work wonders!

It’s flex able as far as I know but I’ve never put it on fabric before

No, it doesn’t have to be completely dry, but you do want to give it a little bit of time so the second coat sticks.

You can do this on any type of shoes you want besides uggs or flip flops

Loctite has a gel formula. I actually prefer it over E6000

E6000 yellows and eats away t j.g e silver backing on plastic rhinestones. Gem tack is a better solution.
Yes, I learned that the hard way when I first started trying my hand at cell phone cases years ago. I use all quality stones now so that’s not an issue, but I would prefer a less toxic glue. I’ve actually purchased Gem Tack, but I’ve been too nervous to use it on a project that I’m doing for anyone else. I know the stones aren’t going anywhere when I use E6000. I’ll have to give the Gem Tack a try! Thank you so much for the info! 😊
