2 things - 1. DJJ chose to leave. Mavs could only offer x amount in order to retain the space to also sign Klay. DJJ wanted more money 2. DJJ also knew his new role would be coming off the bench with Klay coming to Mavs. Less money AND a bench role wasn’t what he wanted so he left. Having said that, Mavs got the DJJ equivalent on defense in Naji. Except Naji is a much better offensive player. So nah, the way it ended up for Mavs worked out in their favor over keeping DJJ
Yeah idk what's wrong with this dude sometimes he acts like he's not seeing the same shit were seeing. Dude ran right into the back of Luka and he's acting crazy about it.
@@Bklynreau you could, question would be if you were good at guarding him or he'd play you for a fool. He missed out on preseason because of an injury at training camp, we'll see what happens later on in the season.
I think you’re right about Randle being a bit better than KAT, because Randle’s a more versatile offensive player. He’s a better ball handler, better slasher and much better playmaker. KAT is a better 3-point shooter and a slightly better rebounder but that’s about it. KAT has blinders on when he tries to get to the bucket and turns the ball over too much. He also commits too many stupid, careless fouls. They’re both All-Star level players, but I think Randle’s versatility makes him a bit more valuable for the Wolves.
You dont lost it thinking PJ is bad. You obviously aint watching the games if thats what you come away with. Hes better than DJJ at pretty everything except dunking 50 feet in the air
@Bklynreau His defense is the most important thing he carries around the corner 3s are extra. Also he drives to the basket quite often so he aint just shooting 3s.
Love this shit, man. I think you be a secret 'sota fan. First the Vikes, then the Lynx and now the Puppies. Wolves definitely got the better end of the Kat trade, especially with salary ramifications. Defense hasn't been up to last year's standards. Take awhile to jel. Maybe.
They couldnt kept DJ cause he swapped his agent or smthing and there is a rule which prevent to resign the player if they got a new agent recently or some shit. If im not wrong i dont know for sure tho. Great reaction
You are partially right. DJJ said he wanted to stay but he got a new agent and there is indeed a rule that when a player does that he can't officially sign or get in contract talks for a period of I think is 15 days. They can do it off the record and under the table get to an agreement but it can't be officialized until that period passes. Mavs said they wanted him back as a priority, but they are on the 1st Apron and after DJJ made the agent switch move, if they waited they could not sign any other FG in the meantime while risking DJJ eventually not signing despite the possible verbal agreement (with Klutch that is a big concern). So Mavs went the safe route, got Naji for the same they offered DJJ, made sure that spot was covered, they sign&traded for Klay, got Grimes and Dinwiddie. DJJ went for slightly more money and a situation where he was guaranteed minutes. Win-Win so far, we'll see what the future tells.
Could always come back! Dallas seems to bring back players that click well. Might offer him a contract In the future like they did with Seth curry and dinwiddie
The Mavs played like this because they thought the 2024 WFC wasn't over...😂
They didn’t play great they cruised controlled the Wolves, Mavs just way better than Your fav team who ever that is.
Luka vs the Target Center crowd is a real thing.

So far it doesnt seem like Naji is an upgrade. DJJ was a problem, wish they coudlve found a way to keep him.
3:02 it IS a foul because Luka knew how to draw his opponent in and time his jump. The guy shouldn't have come up behind him.
Yeah idk what's wrong with this dude sometimes he acts like he's not seeing the same shit were seeing. Dude ran right into the back of Luka and he's acting crazy about it.
@@footballlife1543 And luka had 4 fts all game, ant 12...
I’m tired of seeing it! Honestly I can guard Luka 😂

'preciate the reactions, all sports. Rangers been out, Cowboys MUCKIN' it up, ay, let's go Mavs
7:37 Luka got hurt the play before this, that’s why he didn’t jump. Mavs had to do an intentional foul to get him out of the game right after this.
This was a close game, but Mavericks were creeping up on Timberwolves. Kyrie was looking awfully sweaty as hell tho!😅
PJ stand on business ,,,,,,the enforcer .....Dallas fans we want trade him for the world we love what he bring to the table
lol Pj who?

Said exactly what I was thinking!

All he do is hit corner 3s I can do that 😂

ohh boy u think its hockey time
@ you got nascar and almost everything I truly believe Hockey will impress you and I believe you will like it my home team is the Carolina Hurricanes
If Ant didn’t have a big 1st quarter Mfs would’ve got blown tf out.
Randle should be a mavs cause he is from there.

For the kyrie hater haha 🤣
Big Brooklyn ‼️ I see it that’s a fire 🔥hat you got on he got that shidd on yeauhh 😂💯
I don't disagree as a mavs fan the some luka fouls are strange. But they also miss more calls that are actual calls.
He will get some foul calls that don't warrant, and then he will get mauled and nothing. His calls are so inconsistent, it's wild.
4:09 not even a klay fan but bro when?💀
I peeped he changed the hat 😂 my ninja😂 that’s fire 🔥
you seeeeeeeeeeeeeee me lmao
How are you a chiefs fan and Brooklyn fan ?
Rob dillingham needs a chance
