I was affected by sehr too. It's very terrible. As our brother said you will see yourself in a situation that you think you did something that you logically know that you didn't. So it may lead you to do something and make a worse situation. But the only way out of it is Praying and Remembrance of Allah and Seeking refuge to him and Keeping yourself a way of arrogance or fighting those thoughts because it make it worse or it's better to say it makes you stay more connected to it and it will affect you more. Just rely on power of Allah. Also doing Zekr while those thoughts and feelings is attacking you is a great way to not get affected by it or make it less. By doing more praying you will be more protected. But be patient and do twakkol to Allah.
It's crazy to think how such a thing could be possible. I knew about the story about week ago , from my father because one of our relatives literally lives in the same town where this happened and yes I'm Algerian. @@sumk66 i have started to make sure to read surah bakarah every day, i had to read in English version because i haven't learned Arabic yet, in a situation like this it becomes clear how important the regular Quran recitation is so important shield or they might get through and inflict serious damage
