And We seized them with extreme poverty and loss in health so that they might humble themselves (believe with humility). فَلَوْلَا إِذْ جَاءَهُم بَأْسُنَا تَضَرَّعُوا وَلَـٰكِن قَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ So when Our Torment reached them, why then did they not humble themselves (believe with humility)? But their hearts became hardened, and the Shaytan (Satan) made fair-seeming unto them that which they used to do. فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَرِحُوا بِمَا أُوتُوا أَخَذْنَاهُم بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ So when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened for them the gates of every (pleasant) thing, until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, We took them (in punishment), and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows. فَقُطِعَ دَابِرُ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ۚ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ So the root of the people who did wrong (polytheism) was cut off. And all the praises and thanks are to Allah, the Lord of the 'Alameen (mankind, jinn, and all that which exists). [Al-An'aam 6:42-45]

So the idea of "not being able to quit , is false". I have dealt with people doing magic on me and because of my past experiences I know what it feels like so I automatically run to Allah SWT and feel protected. Allah is the only way! Just a few months ago had someone try magic weird things started happening in my home. I had to pray and pray and eventually it stopped. It is no joke!!!

i used to do tarot cards but i quit in march 2022. my intentions were never bad but the act itself was straying me away from Allah swt. i wanted to find islam so bad,it was hurting me inside. slowly but surely i eventually quit and found my deen little by little,started praying again,started reading quran again,etc. i literally get embarrassed looking back thinking of what i was doing. alhamdullilah,i was 17 when i started and 18 when i quit,now i’m 19 and i’ve made so much progress! i never thought Allah swt would forgive me but i promise it’s never too late for repentance and forgiveness ♥️ i have never been happier with my faith. those cards opened a door for jinns…i was never comfortable. with Allah swt im always at ease.

I personally don't like at all these people who are involved in sihr. I suffers from sihr and also my family and it's horrible. It attacks you physically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually. It's worst when you fall asleep. They continue to attack your soul relentlessly.
That is actually true. There are some sins where if you commit them, they'll have consequences whether you repent or not. If you repent, Allah will forgive you but you'll still have to pay the consequences for doing it. The prime example is Zina. Allah will forgive you but the physical side of the sin will never be erased. People always use the excuse of, I have committed Zina in the past but i have repented so you have to ignore it and act like it never happened. It's just like a wound, when Allah forgives you it'll heal but it'll behind a physical scar that'll never fade meaning the worldly consequences will never just disappear.
A hardship that drives you away from Allah swt is a punishment and A hardship that brings you closer to Allah is a trial . Try to see the best of a bad situation.

The punishment for black magic is much more severe than what he experienced. I think the ill effects he was feeling from the magic was the actual jinn. When one engages in such acts, he looses the protection of Allah (God) and exposes himself to the manipulation from the devils. They may be inflicting him only to make a deal with him later to rid him of symptoms and make it look like they have expiated God's wrath. Nobody can expiate Gods wrath if God decides it. May Allah protect us from his wrath, ameen.

As far as the ruling is concerned. If a magician is caught in the act, by the Muslim authorities, they are to be put to death, even if they proclaim repentance at the time, then Allah(swt) may, or may not forgive them. If they change their ways, and repent before any Muslim authorities catches them in the act, then their matter is solely with Allah(swt), and He is the most forgiving, most wise.

People fail to understand the hierarchy of authority and power. Allah is the source of all power, Allah created humans and Jinns. Allah sustains human n jinn and none can survive without His permission. It don't make sense to turn to creation for help when you have the creator.

The thing is no one has the right to judge except Allah. But when someone knows about what Allah says in the Qur'an and didn't reveal it, is a sin. It is even mentioned in the Qur'an that the responsibility of the Prophet is to notify, not manage. Allah is the most merciful, if you repent He will forgive you. Allah also mentioned in the Qur'an that we should fear only Him. He also said that He will test you with fear, death, hunger, and poverty. But the people who believe in Him will say, to Allah we belong and to Him we will return. So don't fear death if you are doing what Allah commands you.

i used to do tarot cards but i quit in march 2022. my intentions were never bad but the act itself was straying me away from Allah swt. i wanted to find islam so bad,it was hurting me inside. slowly but surely i eventually quit and found my deen little by little,started praying again,started reading quran again,etc. i literally get embarrassed looking back thinking of what i was doing. alhamdullilah,i was 17 when i started and 18 when i quit,now i’m 19 and i’ve made so much progress! i never thought Allah swt would forgive me but i promise it’s never too late for repentance and forgiveness ♥️ i have never been happier with my faith. those cards opened a door for jinns…i was never comfortable. with Allah swt im always at ease.

That is actually true. There are some sins where if you commit them, they'll have consequences whether you repent or not. If you repent, Allah will forgive you but you'll still have to pay the consequences for doing it. The prime example is Zina. Allah will forgive you but the physical side of the sin will never be erased. People always use the excuse of, I have committed Zina in the past but i have repented so you have to ignore it and act like it never happened. It's just like a wound, when Allah forgives you it'll heal but it'll behind a physical scar that'll never fade meaning the worldly consequences will never just disappear.

As far as the ruling is concerned. If a magician is caught in the act, by the Muslim authorities, they are to be put to death, even if they proclaim repentance at the time, then Allah(swt) may, or may not forgive them. If they change their ways, and repent before any Muslim authorities catches them in the act, then their matter is solely with Allah(swt), and He is the most forgiving, most wise.

The thing is no one has the right to judge except Allah. But when someone knows about what Allah says in the Qur'an and didn't reveal it, is a sin. It is even mentioned in the Qur'an that the responsibility of the Prophet is to notify, not manage. Allah is the most merciful, if you repent He will forgive you. Allah also mentioned in the Qur'an that we should fear only Him. He also said that He will test you with fear, death, hunger, and poverty. But the people who believe in Him will say, to Allah we belong and to Him we will return. So don't fear death if you are doing what Allah commands you.
