  • James Arthur Ray, who at his pinnacle was celebrated as a self-help guru with a New York Times bestseller and Oprah's nod of approval. James' world came crashing down following a tragic incident in 2009, sending him to prison, and leaving him 20 million in debt, homelessness, and social exile. It was in this darkest hour that Bersabeh, a survivor of the tumultuous landscapes of Iran, brought a beacon of hope, understanding, and belief in redemption that the world seemed to have withdrawn from James.
    Together, James and Bersabeh, affectionately known as "Bear," share their incredible tale of resilience, love, and transformation. With over three decades of collective wisdom and insight into human behavior, they are on a mission to revolutionize the personal development industry. They openly discuss their personal stories of adversity, the lessons learned from hitting rock bottom, and how they've used these experiences to forge a new path for others seeking to understand life and themselves better. Whether you're in search of meaning, grappling with life's challenges, or curious about the intricacies of human behavior, James and Bear's journey offers a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of redemption and starting over.

    I'm gonna be as charitable as possible with what I'm about to say: any man that can look at a situation where he caused the deaths of three people and say it was a 'gift' to him and his own personal development is a man that hasn't learned a damn thing. BIG yikes.

    Not lovin the quick research I'm doing on this guy. On the one hand, he has an incredible story about redemption to share. Otoh, his new grift to sell, I mean share, is redemption, cause that's the new angle post-rock bottom. Just same story. Hard to tell.
    Can someone who watched the whole thing give a recommend?

      Watched the whole show, I think it's worth the watch as there are some good insights to learn from. Don't think Andy would have, knowingly, someone who's a fraud on the show.
      Yes, he's trying to rebuild with the skills, talents, and knowledge he knows... But it's the intent that makes the context different.

Perhaps there is some kind of emotional and situational trauma that mimics it all. Her story is more interesting to me than his !

      The Shawn Ryan Show's production is outstanding, there is no debating that and his guests are, for the most part, outstanding but i have to be honest here, i dont think he is too bright and he may be the worst interviewer that ive watched on any podcast.
      None of these types of podcasts leave as much "meat on the bone" if you will, than Shawn Ryan.
      You have that guest, that you chose to bring in to your studio, for a couple hours and they are a piece of chicken sitting there waiting for you to pick them and thier brain and experience apart and he (Shawn Ryan) doesnt do that. At all. Not even a little bit.
      Awesome guy, solid freaking podcast but it leaves alot to be desired in the interviewing sense.
      Andy does a really, really good job of the aforementioned things and when his guest leaves, you feel like they covered EVERYTHING.

    • @erikbondarenko5304
      @erikbondarenko5304 2 місяці тому +1

      @@manhalen7046 andy literally doesnt even make a topic list or do significant research on the guest so your point is already nullified. Your comment on shawns intelligence is laughable lol, the dudes been extremely successful in every career path hes been in throughout his life (i doubt they hire low intelligent people for the CIA). Also if shawn leaves meat on the bone as you said why do his podcasts last twice as long and cover twice as many topics compared to any interview andy has ever done lol. they have both had THE SAME guests on and you can literally compare which interview covers more information. and my final point, if andys pod was better and more thorough why does Shawn have 20x the amount of subscribers. I SAY ALL THIS SO YOU COME TO THE INEVITABLE CONCLUSION THAT YOU ARE IN FACT A MORON.

    Andy you need a new producer, the titles of the episodes are trash and confusing, also what is michael doing if there arent even timestamps on the full podcasts, no clip channels and no shorts. Andy your channel growth is stagnant because your producer isnt putting the work in and you have an inferior product to other podcasts atm. TIMESTAMPS, CLIPS, SHORTS, BETTER TITLES, LIVE POST, will double your viewers!
