Sooner or later...he sells it.
Either directly to smelting operations...or in dirt bags he sells to the public. He's the second of three generations who've made a living with gold mining and prospecting videos. His dad created the show, the GPAA (Gold Prospectors Association of America) and started the Outdoor Channel. Tom has been the host since his dad died, and now at least two of his kids regularly co-host with him. I think there's a couple of kids (and step-kids) who work behind the camera and in the prospecting business.
