The cameras are one of the reasons I left 2 year's ago. To me it shows that they dont trust me so why keep me employed. I understand it's to keep their insurance down though. A driver that works there still that I talk to said another driver ripped it out before quitting
I sneezed, and the camera told me i was I'm distracted 😂😂😂. It also tells you your speeding while being on a highway that requires you to go above 50mph😂. Other than that, I don't own the truck nor trailer , so whatever. Love the vid❤
But at night the truck is turn your screen brightness down because it can pick up reflection so if it bounces off the window or your glasses it will catch that
Hint tho 😉 you can change your song with the wheel the audio option works with the Bluetooth. But honestly if the light is green it recording all the time it’s just looking for the wrong the settings are pretty low compared to most. So when you do something it locks the footage 10secs before and 10 seconds after the only time the inside is not recording is when the brakes are set and the light turns blue

I definitely get what you saying and agree to disagree. If I had choice between camera truck or no camera in truck I’m go with no camera but at end of day if you doing nothing wrong it’s no problem. It’s like having camera in stores, watching employees or if anything happen. Most companies say it’s for the “safety” help out in long run.
Ur truck steering wheel should have the option to change the radio n other option. But those cameras can save you because all those distracted driver. Be safe
You're allowed to be on the phone while driving you just have to have a headset. I use my airpods. I can just tap my AirPod and it answers. No need to touch the phone

You spot on, there cameras are not bad, it’s an AI it only actually records when you don’t something crazy but it does check your eyes if you look to onside of the road for too long it will say something but I do change my songs or take a drink and snack they not that bad
It's like a baby monitor, the memory captures and record until the memory is full. I would suppose since 10 hrs per day is the max driving time that the memory will hold 10hrs of data. That data is stored and memory is reset for the next 10hr of recording. Event detection are alerts sent to whom ever is designated so clearly the camera is continuously recording to have 10 sec before and after events. The camera is not in itself to micro manage, it is to release liability from the carrier to the driver. The carrier gets a reduce insurance rate if the camera can be used to show driver error. That is why the safety person may bring you in and address minor issues. It's to document that they have discussed this minor issue like=keeping both hands on the steering wheel. Granted, there are likely some really bad drivers who should not operate, nevertheless, that camera co-driver is not your friend.
