How many messages in a bottle do you think are hoaxes?

Fascinating story, it reminded me of a story connected to my late grandmother

When i was in elementary school, grade 5, we were asked to build each a small boat with a message in a bottle attached to it with our return address. My class took our local ferry, and we threw our boats down into the St.Lawrence River in front of Québec City. Two of the boats from my class were found and returned in the mail, including mine, which had been found ashore on the near Orléans Island. I still have itm(My dad had built it lol. It was made of thin sheets of cedar wood, and i used a pill bottle with a rubber lid for carrying the message).

How amazing to find the grandson and be able to share it.

I’m glad he told us about bottles being porous and keeping the smell of pickled cucumbers and brine for a century or so cause I’ve had a couple huge pickle jars I been cleaning, airing out, and repeating trying to remove the smell. 😅

Who is this guy ? Where is ocean liner designer ?

One of his feet got an infection and had to be amputated. He had a bugger of an in grown toenail. He was showering at the gym and forgot to wear his flip -flops. Bad luck. Some nasty brute tracked toe jam onto the tile. Liner Designer's crap toe ducked up that funky jam and became septic as a toothless crack head's stinky gum holes. Long story short.......the guy is busy hobbling around his kitchen and cursing public showers. I heard he has vowed to quit making videos or boats until people start paying more mind to keeping filth out the shucky darn rain rooms!! I think he's pretty serious about this.
