I’m Hashi’s, Hypo and Insulin Resistant and thriving on Pea Protein power+Collagen Peptides powder. More energy, no digestive discomfort and no prob with taste.
Can you do a video on the best diet for Hashimoto’s? Grain free, dairy free, sugar free, soy free is all so hard. I’ve been gluten free for a long time, but I tend to have trouble tolerating all grains. So it’s very hard to find anything to eat that is quick. I don’t have a lot of time to meal prep.
I been diagnosed with Hashimotos and it’s pretty much life style changing. I lift weights a lot and been taking whey protein but never thought that it could’ve been bad for me. Great video on giving me options and you explaining them.
What about Moringa?! Please address this superfood. I cannot find anyone who will discuss this in the thyroid world. Is it ok, not ok? I've heard mixed reviews on wherever or not Hashi/hypo sufferers should include or avoid?
I love the plant base Protein powders. But it is hard to find one that doesn’t have immune stimulating ingredients. I think it would have been good to mention it as a con. I know that not everyone reacts the same to immune stimulaters. I love and have learned a lot from you Channel thank you for sharing your knowledge.
A lot of people don't realize the loads of pesticides in vegan protein powder. I too prefer vegan but it actually causes massive flare-ups for me. Isolate is my go to since it's cleaner
Thank you for all your advises but have you tried world best hyperthyroidism treatment. Put 1 tablespoon of coriander seeds at night in a glass of lukewarm water. Boil the corianderwater with seedes for 10 to 15 minutes. Drink this water on an empty stomach in the morning like tea.
Can anyone please 🙏 tell me the name of the stores to buy over the counter, Pea Protein powders and Collagen Peptides Powders? or Whey? Please 🙏 I am Hashi's, Hypo myself. I've had Whey before. When I was in Tennessee and I honestly can't remember if it had an affect on me or not. It's been so long ago. Thanks to doctor Child's for bringing this to my attention. And everyone else thank you as well for the information. I don't usually right anything because I'm always so nervous. Anyways any help out here would be very appreciated? Everyone have the rest of a good day or night wherever you may be
I'm allergic to pea/bean/legume/brown rice. If whey proteins suppress thyroid function, according to studies, have there been any studies on whey isolate and thyroid? Would love a video on this! Thank you.
What if the body doesn't produce any thyroid hormone after treatment? Can I take any type of protein powder without looking at the cons as I got thyroid hormones from medicines ?
I recently subscribed to your channel and find that your videos are more informative than my last endocrinologist… however, Im still stumped as to how I can find a proactive Dr or ask the right questions to the results I need. I’ve started experiencing hot flashes and other symptoms that led my primary to think my synthroid is too low. I’m not so sure though Because he is merely looking at a tsh result which we understand to be insufficient information to determine what is really happening. My last endocrinologist was only adjusting my synthroid based off this simple test. What questions can I ask my new Endo Dr, to be more thorough with testing to get an accurate diagnosis. I’m finding that trying to be my own doctor with supplements and diets is a daunting and confusing task.
It often feels like we have to go on a treasure hunt to find the right person. I've been looking into a functional medicine dr they're not just stuck on 'normal" ranges and instead focus on how you feel. They also could suggest some non medicine things that could help.
I have hashimoto's and heard that pea and lentil lectins are really bad for hashimoto's patients. And now we have to worry about soy as well? I guess I can try to live on beef and rice but would be nice to have some legumes in my diet LOL
Thank you for your content. My 4 years old autistic son is doing well on of your supplement. I am adding chill also. Can you talk about constipation? I checked your videos and I can't find any
Even though it is technically a protein powder it doesn't have the same composition of amino acids so you wouldn't get the benefits listed here, though you would get different benefits.
Great video, but please can you slow down a bit , you speaking too fast. English it's a beautiful language but coming out your mouth sounds like Chinese. Horrible to follow and keep up .
I could respond by saying "maybe your language processing speed is too slow" but I'm not going to be mean. All you had to do was adjust the playback speed of the video to your preference.

I have Hashi and use Sarvaa protein powders and love them. Lots of great ingredients, organic and a great small company to support.

Can yiu blend whey and plant and beef based proteins
How do you feel about grass fed bone broth protein?
It's fine but it's not really a source of protein the same way that these protein powders are.

What is hydrolyzed protein? Is that the same as collagen or bone broth powder?
I’m using watermelon seed protein and pumpkin seed protein from Sprouts. BEST EVER!!
Hello Aliece where do you get those??? Do you do the sprouts? or is there a protein product?
@@anikomiles4260 hello! They are both protein powders you purchase from an online company here in the US called ‘Sprouts’

What do you think about collagen powders?
Collagen is fine to use but it contains different amino acids so it wouldn't be considered a true "protein powder" in the same way that these are.

L-glutamine is great for improving gut health and helping with appetite.
Thank you

Can a hashimotos patient with grade 1 fatty liver take protein supplements?
Yes.
If I’m on cytomel (synthetic t3) for hypothyroid, can I get off of it? I have been on the paleo diet for 2 weeks now and have felt great.
Egg white protein is easily digested.

Doesn't pea protein contain lectin? And lectin can cause (it does for me at least), inflammation because it is so similar to thyroid hormones.
Thanks, doc! ♡♡♡
