I asked Chat GPT this question. "Should a person acknowledge or credit an AI program if it writes a story for a human?" Here's it's reply. "Yes, if an AI program writes a story for a human, it is generally considered ethical and honest to acknowledge and credit the AI program for its contributions. The human who is taking credit for the work should make it clear that the AI program was involved in the writing process and indicate the extent of its involvement. It is also important to consider any legal or copyright issues that may be involved with using an AI-generated story, and to make sure to obtain any necessary permissions or licenses before using the story." AI programs are amazing. Just remember to put a short acknowledgement in the credit section of your book and listing. It may protect you from problems in the future.
What you are saying is very true, everyone will be doing it somewhere, somehow the information it is generating is going to overlap and plagiarism may occur I just smell trouble with this. If you write a book this way then your acknowledgement/ disclaimer should be : This is a 100% AI Generated book. Otherwise if you don't you can ruin your reputation of you take credit for something you never produces. My concern is also just what do you learn as an author from the experience? You learn nothing. On the other hand if you write books the traditional way you learn a lot as an author. People should just be careful that's all and we need to try and use it on a minimum and not just let it write the whole book.
Interesting response for sure, but you and Quakes are completely wrong-just because GPT responded that way doesn't mean it's fact. The US copyright act states that there is no copyright protection for works generated solely by a machine. Chat GPT is simply a tool, and tools do not produce copyrightable results on their own, the human factor of prompting it and guiding it is what creates results.
Regarding the use of AI and ethics, your approach could be correct, but not as a whole. If we do a brief search on the internet we find the following: "For Artificial Intelligence to work, it needs data, which is why the development of this technology has gone hand in hand with others such as Big Data, the Internet of Things or the 5G mobile network, weblogs, sensors integrated into devices, machinery, vehicles, Internet searches, social networks, laptops, smartphones, GPS devices, and call center records, etc.etc. etc. It is this information that allows machines and systems (software) to create patterns from which to learn. Artificial intelligence is the combination of data and algorithms that allow software to act on its own thanks to these patterns and data. Thus, machines will be able to present the same capabilities as humans, such as logical reasoning and learning.." Based on the above, the information used by AI belongs to all the people around the world who provide this information when interacting on the world wide web, so who owns the copyright? Has the creator of the software used data generated by us, so, Has AI or him the copyright legally?
AI Tools are tools. Do you acknowledge you use Microsoft Word, or credit Final Draft? No. As for legal and copyright issues, if you use the story as is directly from the AI, in theory you have no legal copyright to the content generated unless you further work the content. This is much more an issue in visual art than text though and is the only place that the copyright has had legal precedent that I know of so far.
Best to use it to generate a Synposis, Characters, Locations, Genre etc. Then turn the synopsis into a chapter by chapter outline using the story model of your choice as a Template, Hero's Journey etc.
If you want to start writing why are you going to have an ai write for you, it's like saying you want to play basketball so you are going to pay someone to play for you.

you might have to do more for the book names. I saw The little train that could. the creating titles request you did did just that created unique. you probably want to add with a unique character as well to that line. If it was a scifi story that could have just as easily came up with something with something like Star Wars:Revenge of the Jar Jar. Which would be an original title ... but obviously it is not an original franchise like the little train that could one that popped up. Honestly the generation of the story if done right would take more steps. you can do longer stories it will create a story by chapters and scenes within it. though I had a hard time going past 12 chapters. I have yet to see a solid story generating tutorial yet. I don't think anyone is doing a more complex one. it is involved for longer for longer forms but possible. Too much to go into here. I am still experimenting with various approaches for more complex approaches. This is more a good tutorial for finding a story to do and promote

@@alysuhail6832 Well more varied and surprising. Basically I was generating stories over multiple prompts. When something happens in the story I update the character. Same for a location. You can also do things in a prompt like adding items to a location. I added lines like "add 5 items inspired by the location". If the locatoni is a hardware store for example it will add things like hammers, saws, nails etc. For example. I had a character that got addicted to a drug that gave them powers, they started selling them, then out of the blue the gang that was getting the drugs to her suddenly was selling to the entire city. the more info you put in on a character the less samey the story gets. If you work it like a programing language of a sort you can get key words or events to change how a character will respond. If you think of it kinda like a programming language you can get some interesting results. So I have a question! I’ve been using chat GPT to edit my stories I’ve already created. Every detail is mine and it’s all original. Is it safe to use it just for editing and improving an original story? I’m seeing a lot of mixed feelings on this subject and it’s kind of making me nervous.. I’ve spent so many hours and now years at this point waiting to make this dream come true to become a published author. However, I want to make sure I’m doing what’s right and being safe about how i make these stories come to life. Any advice?
Hi Saint, if you are not comfortable with using ChatGTP then please do not use it. I have tried to show ways to make your story unique in the video and check it with a plagiarism checker to keep your book safe. If it causes you to feel nervous then it’s not worth the stress. Keep going and writing books and you will achieve your dream of becoming a published author.
Is this something you actually do using your KDP account??? Or are you waiting it out for KDP to give an official statement regarding AI generated books?
@@DannyOnDemand thanks for answering. Did you comply with Chatgpt 's Publication Policy: "Content co-authored with the OpenAI API Creators who wish to publish their first-party written content (e.g., a book, compendium of short stories) created in part with the OpenAI API are permitted to do so under the following conditions: The published content is attributed to your name or company. The role of AI in formulating the content is clearly disclosed in a way that no reader could possibly miss, and that a typical reader would find sufficiently easy to understand." ?
@@DannyOnDemand oh no worries I said that because I couldn't I didn't get if you created your PDF at that size or if you just used a standard size PDF and then KDP automatically put it to the size that you want it
Dear Danny. ChatGPT says it's currently at capacity and won't let me on. Grrr. Your video has lit my lamp and I'm anxious to get started. Might you recommend a ChatGPT alternative? Something to try in the meantime. Thanks. There are a bunch of alternatives listed online, but I'm sure you're more in the know than myself.
Hi, check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/ESla7BGomzA/v-deo.html. It should fix any issues with chatgpt by refreshing the screen several times. If it still doesn't work try rytr ai. It's also a great free ai tool.
it needs to be 24 pages so how can a 500 words make into 24 pages long? The problem with chatgpt is it only makes short articles like 300 words per prompt
Thanks for watching, in this video, I was just showing you an example using 5 stories, you would need to add more short stories to have enough for 25 pages.
So if I choose my topic carefully, change words where I feel necessary, then check the whole story on any plagiarism site and then if I get a green signal from there is it safe to sell it?
Thanks for watching, As I showed in the video, make sure you use a plagiarism checker to ensure your content has not been copied directly from anywhere else.
@DannyOnDemand Good point! And idea. I used chatgpt yesterday to write a description, and I tweaked it, but I didn't run it through to see if it was plagiarized, and for some reason, it feels like cheating. But I guess it can be viewed as a tool. :)
hey danny loved the video and personally gonna implement it myself but i have two things i need to ask: 1: is making a kdp account free or do u need to make a amazon seller account to sell ebooks because personally im gonna go with ebooks less hassle and dont have to ship it out 2: second is that when we go to write the authors name can we put the author as ChatGPT to avoid copyright because i saw on reddit that its not necessary but it will be better if u add chatgpt as the author to avoid any plagiarism strikes or copyright
@DannyOnDemand I've been thinking about jumping into the game myself and I'm seeing how much time actually goes into even the shortest of vids, lol. Maybe someday we'll collab.

Isn't this just the end of creator driven KDP? How long before Amazon just offers a service where a few prompts creates a book....cut out the middle man, so to speak. Personally, I think AI will make all this cheap stuff so ubiquitous that only quality man-made products will be bought by customers.
Stay away from your books hahaha I think authors who write books for kid think carefully about the words they use in stories and any life lesson where possible
Since you didn't write the story, ( the AI did), shouldn't you credit the AI program and disclose your story was created by ChatGPT? Are you breaching creative copyright laws ? The creators of ChatGPT have rights to anything it's AI program creates.
This video is useful on the topic: ua-cam.com/video/zuvN8_6QIKk/v-deo.html. As I showed in the video, make sure you check any work created with a plagiarism checker. Open AI do have the rights to anything it creates.
@DannyOnDemand based on that video, it appears that ChatGDT must be cited as the source, but still seems like a grey area. And thst they could potentially hold the copyright to the material used.
I’m with you on this! Watch Chatgpt ask everyone to credit them for the work ppl created on their AI product! Google is already penalizing sites written by AI, Amazon will be next!

@@DannyOnDemand Thank you Danny. I took your advice ran it through multiple plagiarism checkers and all of them said it was plagiarism free thank you!
@@saintcloud1196
Can you please share the plagiarism tools you used?
Is this something you actually do using your KDP account??? Or are you waiting it out for KDP to give an official statement regarding AI generated books?
I wouldn’t be able to show you if I hadn’t done all the steps. Thanks for watching
@@DannyOnDemand thanks for answering. Did you comply with Chatgpt 's Publication Policy:
"Content co-authored with the OpenAI API
Creators who wish to publish their first-party written content (e.g., a book, compendium of short stories) created in part with the OpenAI API are permitted to do so under the following conditions:
The published content is attributed to your name or company.
The role of AI in formulating the content is clearly disclosed in a way that no reader could possibly miss, and that a typical reader would find sufficiently easy to understand."
?
wait, the interior has to be 6 x 9 as well, right?
I usually create mine that size but you can use the kdp cover calculator website.
@@DannyOnDemand oh no worries I said that because I couldn't I didn't get if you created your PDF at that size or if you just used a standard size PDF and then KDP automatically put it to the size that you want it
Nice! Are writers still making a living writing children's books in 2023?
Yes there’s still a lot of demand for children’s books. You can take a look on Amazon.
@@DannyOnDemand Thanks, Danny!! :^)
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful
Thanks!
What will be the size of this book in word ?
Thanks for watching, 15.24cm x 22.86cm for a 6x9 page
Indepently published should be give priority or not please explain
Priority for? Please explain further what you mean?
it needs to be 24 pages so how can a 500 words make into 24 pages long? The problem with chatgpt is it only makes short articles like 300 words per prompt
You either have many short stories, or just ask chatgpt to continue the story
word documents is measured in cm and I wanted to create a document of 6*9 inches in dimension , how am I going to do this?
Thanks for watching, 15.24cm x 22.86cm for a 6x9 page
What is the minimum no. Of pages (or) minimum no. Of stories that should be there in a Short Stories Book ?
Does anyone have good tips and advice on how to market the book once you make it?
You can run ads or sell it though social media
@@DannyOnDemand do you happen to have a video showing good examples of ads?
How much did you earn sir?
Check my income reports!
How do you create 25 pages minimum that Amazon needs with just 500 words? Even if it includes content page title etc
You can make it write more, in his case here, 5 stories would not have been enough for 25 pages.
Thanks for watching, in this video, I was just showing you an example using 5 stories, you would need to add more short stories to have enough for 25 pages.
Thanks so much
I'm glad it helped!
Can you add pictures to the inside content of your story books?
Yes you can add pictures if you want.
@@DannyOnDemand do you have a video on formatting the interior of your books especially with pictures?
Hello,
Thank you for this video.
How do you have the "Self Publishing Titan" part at 1.29 of your vidéo ?
Thank you (again)
Thanks for watching. You can go onto google and type on self publishing titans kdp niche research chrome extension and you can download it.
@@DannyOnDemand was it free or did you pay for it?
@@theprodigy4202 it’s free
Should you copyright your books so no one plagiarize you? If so, can you recommend a copyright expert?
I don’t copyright my books right now but I may do this in the future.
Take your document and date and sign it and mail it to yourself for a date stamp.
Yo which font size do the books need to have in order to reach the 25 pages?
I would suggest adding more stories to reach 25 pages, rather than increasing the font size
So if I choose my topic carefully, change words where I feel necessary, then check the whole story on any plagiarism site and then if I get a green signal from there is it safe to sell it?
Yes, I have had no issues with this approach. You need to make sure the content is unique
how much do you make from this danny just curious?
You can check out my income reports on my channel
Useful.
Glad it was helpful!
@@DannyOnDemand Are you on Facebook?
thanks
Thanks for watching
Is this legal to put your name on this without writing it, especially not knowing if the AI took the story ideas from other copywritten materials?
Thanks for watching, As I showed in the video, make sure you use a plagiarism checker to ensure your content has not been copied directly from anywhere else.
@DannyOnDemand Good point! And idea. I used chatgpt yesterday to write a description, and I tweaked it, but I didn't run it through to see if it was plagiarized, and for some reason, it feels like cheating. But I guess it can be viewed as a tool. :)
How much you earned from this book?
This book was an example for the video but I've had a few sales from short story books
Does chatgtp work in other languages?
Yes, it does
It does
Awesome
Thank you!
hey danny loved the video and personally gonna implement it myself but i have two things i need to ask:
1: is making a kdp account free or do u need to make a amazon seller account to sell ebooks because personally im gonna go with ebooks less hassle and dont have to ship it out
2: second is that when we go to write the authors name can we put the author as ChatGPT to avoid copyright because i saw on reddit that its not necessary but it will be better if u add chatgpt as the author to avoid any plagiarism strikes or copyright
KDP is free to use. They will ship out your paperback copies also. You can add ChatGPT as a contributor.
What are the page format settings on Word?
Your work is sensational!
Thanks for watching, 15.24cm x 22.86cm for a 6x9 page
@@DannyOnDemand thx bud
When you expanded on the first title it literally generated Thomas the tank engine or whatever its called..my dad read it to me as a kid haha
Haha, if you feel it’s very similar to another story then you can ask ChatGPT to change the storyline
@@DannyOnDemand Thanks for the tips! Great video you put some solid time I to it I can tell.
@@Leftiesarelosingit Thanks, it takes time to make videos like these but with comments like yours it makes it definitely makes it worth doing!
@DannyOnDemand I've been thinking about jumping into the game myself and I'm seeing how much time actually goes into even the shortest of vids, lol. Maybe someday we'll collab.
How did you get 24 pages? Looked like it was 3-4 in word
I only showed any example of one story but you would need to create more stories using ChatGPT in order to fill the pages.
@@DannyOnDemand any idea how many words that usually is? Appreciate the reply
Regarding the use of AI and ethics. If we do a brief search on the internet we find the following:
"For Artificial Intelligence to work, it needs data, which is why the development of this technology has gone hand in hand with others such as Big Data, the Internet of Things or the 5G mobile network, weblogs, sensors integrated into devices, machinery, vehicles, Internet searches, social networks, laptops, smartphones, GPS devices, and call center records, etc. etc. etc.
It is this information that allows machines and systems (software) to create patterns from which to learn.
Artificial intelligence is the combination of data and algorithms that allow the software to act on its own thanks to these patterns and data. Thus, machines will be able to present the same capabilities as humans, such as logical reasoning and learning.."
Based on the above, the information used by AI belongs to all the people around the world who provide this information when interacting on the world wide web, so who owns the copyright? Has the creator of the software used data generated by us, so, Has AI or the creator the copyright legally?
500 words is considered a short story these days? Holy crap. That's not a story its a snippet on a cereal box!
Thanks for watching, 500 words was just used as an example in the video, you can add much more words.
😝😝😝😝😝
kdp don't accept AI content please don't try Safe your account
My books have been fine. Always check your content with a plagiarism checker.
Thanks for watching, you are welcome to use the tool or not
Don't forget when kdp team read your eBook they will remove instantly 😂.
My books haven't been removed.
@@DannyOnDemand o really 🙄
don't know what smart about it, i want me to verify i'm human repeatedly so i may need to call my mother
Since you didn't write the story, ( the AI did), shouldn't you credit the AI program and disclose your story was created by ChatGPT? Are you breaching creative copyright laws ? The creators of ChatGPT have rights to anything it's AI program creates.
This is also a complicated topic since ChatGPT is trained on books and articles by other authors.
@Jasmina LD Yes, I believe it can be a great brainstorming tool, help to get the creative juices flowing with some ideas. It's an incredible tool, but I'm not sure I'd use it in the way described in this video as I believe they will eventually require being cited and perhaps financial royalties!
I've been publishing for 5 years now and I have made tens of $1000's of dollars from publishing. And this is simply incorrect. Amazon will find out soon or later. Tired of these CHATGPT nonsense. Sure write book for yourself but for Amazon is simply not working!
Awesome, ChatGTP is not for everyone. Thanks for watching. I have never stated you can make $$$ thousands in any of my videos, you can go and check.
Is it possible to use to create word searches?

Many tool detect ai writing content , what if Amazon terminate those accounts cause of this reason
Use the plagiarism tool I showed in the video and you can also use an AI checker.
Most kids books require pictures, which makes things complicated.
There are AI tools you can use to create pictures like midjourney I will do a video on this soon!
