I've also used a small diameter pipe as a "sleeve" to go from inside the kegerator up slight into the tower. I then seal around the pipe from the inside of the kegerator. No gaping. Also, you can cut the heads off of the other two screws and use some sealant to just place them into the openings and make it look like you used all 4. in reality, 2 like you used is enough for residential use.

Definitely considered sleeving and it would surely work. In the end, I went with the tightly fit styrofoam because I had so much of it and it was easy to cut and form. My tower has been operating a good temp and after 8 kegs have seen no issues with the styrofoam.

Tip, start drilling at a 45° angle then slowly upright. Have someone with a spray bottle to spray the bit every few secs.

ok the styrofoam is exactly what I needed. I was thinking about pool noodle or pipe insulation but I have lots of styrofoam from shipping materials for my bar sink. Great idea!

Thanks for the compliment! The styrofoam has done a great job for the last two months!
