Magnificent Algeria 🇩🇿❤️ and that’s just Constantine’s area … don’t forget Algeria is larger than France,Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands … combined. It’s the largest African country and the largest Mediterranean country and the largest MENA country. Also the 10th largest country in the world just after India and Argentina. There is so many more regions, culture and history in Algeria 🇩🇿❤️
@amin saib by some of us I could agree ... Since the late 80s a new doctrine invaded our holy Algeria..then terrorism appeared.. thanks to our army 🪖 and courageous people we won that war .. now is time to build and for sure prosperity in its way
It feels like now there is a turning point into an opening process. I love that Euronews is covering Algeria and showing it for the outside world. There wasn't a lot of documentarys about this country, especially in my language german there is almost nothing. Only documentarys of untrest, war or protests but never about the beauty about the culture and the landscapes of this country. I hope more and more will come since many people are very interesseted into Algeria :) Maybe an opening will bring new opportunities for Algerian people.
this site was built during the reign of Emperor Trajan around the year 100, Timgad was listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1982. in Algeria there is also the site of Tipaza and Jemila, 2 clearly visible archaeological sites which were listed as UNESCO heritage sites around the 2000s.
I know a story about an Andalusian mosque here in Telecem, books says it was a marvilous gem, but now we completly lost it because the Frensh destroyed it all.
Arabs are not claiming anything Most Algerians are amazigh ( north africans ) our ancestors are Massinissa and Jughurta Who were amazigh kings Algeria was called numidia and it's capital Cirta ( canstantine)
@@vesperkh3859The huge Arab migration of the 12th century especially affected most of North Africa especially in Eastern Coast of Algeria, Tunisia, the coast of Libya and especially Egypt, the least affected was Morocco which was already a very well established state and the territory it held in the Western coasts of modern Algeria, so yeah, there is nothing like pure Amazigh or pure Arab in North Africa, you're all quite mixed at the end the objective of the Fatamid Caliphs failed, they forcefully entire Arab tribes into the Maghreb to create discontent amongst them and the unruly Amazigh tribes who kept on rebeling, but as usual, things never go as planned
@@abdibgm5748 That's another debate, I just wanted to clarify that the Algerians who claim this part of history are not of arab ancestors , mixed or not , Massinissa/ jughurta are our ancestors, I never claimed amazigh were pure and never intermarried with other cultures , in fact no ethnecity is pure. Amazigh mixed with south europeans and vandals way before the arrival of arabs , then a lot of them mixed with arabs after converting to Islam , some did not mix with arabs though and still do not , in some regions many amazigh look white , others look middle-eastern , also many who consider themselves pure arabs don't consider numidian history as theirs but would be surprised if they do a dna test , most "arabs" Algerians have amazigh blood but not the oposite
