I think it's a biproduct of early TOS. a lot of it was about wacky things that could happen so might as well have an achievement for it, and the game was slower back then so the d10 achievements weren't as far fetched as they are now
they never suspect the second arsonist, like say, there's 2 crus claims and both didnt get a kill, they lynch one of them and it turns out to be arsonist so theyre like "oh the others ones fine then" when really theyre not, its more of a psycological thing

The final night, the arsonist ignited, killing the necromancer and another and also themselves. They had no idea they were doused. The necromancer had doused them the night they remembered.
Im honestly surprised more arsos dont claim tracker tbh, its such an underused arso claim yet so powerful when anyone visits you. It really is the perfect unexpected fake claim for an arso.

Bro I had a game where I was Spy and somehow maf had visited 4 different people but still killed and cleaned the Medusa so Town and evils were all convinced I was Jester the entire game. Then I watched arso clean themselves N2. After d4 I started rooting for arso to win. Finally at the end of the game amne remembered town and was still convinced I was maf. Don't know how I won that game.
I was needing this one lol, although i like arso i rarely get anything done, i have more wins as vamp ( my least favorite role ) than as arso, and i really needed some examples of what to do
I know that’s probably not gonna happen, but there’s a theoretical scenario I was curious about. If they changed douses so that they spread like pb infection BUT you can see that you’re doused and docs could clean a douse off a person, would that make arsonist weaker or stronger?
It would be significantly stronger, especially because it would be insanely disruptive to the flow of the game, as it would force those doused to stay home, heavily disrupting both evils and town, and as such it would make arso as bad as jugg is, because he's too powerful to ignore, and too obvious if he makes a move

"The thing with vfr is - that they just want you to claim" Yeah... no. They did a vfr on me D2 and I was lynched and the first one to be voted up. Another game they voted up Jailor and Guiltied as the Jailed target denied being Jailed. ToS lady's and gentlemen...
I really hate vote for role just to get roles instead of their is info that the person might be evil. It feels like people don't want to take the time to play the game and just get to the end.
You can’t sit around and do nothing during the day, what do you expect town to do in a caa game where no TIs come out? Especially in a ranked meta where the day 2 lynch decides the game, it’s essential that town VFRs and has everybody’s claims

The second arso was executed by the jailor, while that arso was jailed he doused the jailor making it so pipe didnt have to douse him to ignite him
