- Three point turn (or three-point turn, 3 point turn, u-turn) is one of the driving test maneuvers. Learn how to make a tree point turn the easiest way from Parking Tutorial experts. This short video shows a simple procedure for three-point turn on a narrow road section. This technique works both for wide and narrow streets.

I remember practicing again after like 10 years from when I first drove at 16 and I had to learn everything fresh. K turn and parallel parking and breaking/speed seemed Soo complicated but now after driving longer myself it's crazy how easy they all become with practice

What kind of instructional video is this, if you're doing a 3 point turn on a driving test you will fail this part because you didn't use the right signals.

This is so well explained. Other videos without the topographical video can get confusing especially when they switch camera angles. So in summary:
1) Pull up close to curb on the right side of the road ( of course putting on your right turn signal to alert any one in near proximity). Check to make sure there are no vehicles or pedestrians behind or in front the car.
2)Once the road is clear, indicate using your left turn signal and turn one and a half turns all the way to the left the furthest you can go.
3) Next, you straighten out your wheels by moving the steering wheel in the opposite direction as you shift the car into reverse so you can have some space in front of you to do the third final maneuver.
4) indicate to the left and turn all the way to left and there you have it!
Yeah this is how you do it I struggled with this honestly.

@@chorndog11 the example shows other vehicles passing in both directions. The directionals (signals) should have been used at every direction change of the car.
He was an easy way to remember a three point turn left right left like a soldier this will my driver instructor told me

Update: I PASSEDD🥳🥳it’s Easy. But the instructor did the 3 point turn the opposite way. Instead of putting the left signal , reverse , and left we did the right signal reverse and right .

Just took my test and failed because I completely blanked on how to do the k turn. Looks like I have to wait 2 weeks

And drew out how to do one his way like I was an idiot
A dmv lady told me that the passing rate in my state is 25% for the driving test, and in the local dmvs, it’s even lower.
