Early Low budget Chaos Zoomancer & Minion Army Necromancer T16 map without Covenant (6L rare)

- Since some are complaining about "Covenant" and "no map damage mods" here is a 6L rare instead and a few dmg map mods.

Note: The build will be much tankier in 3.25 compared to how it was in the video.
FYI: Judgemental spirit can die if you bring it into a reflect map with high increased map effect, 30%+ reflect.
The gear that was used is the finished Early game 6L rare setup but with poison jewels.
AG had the Mid double curse setup to try and get defenses slightly closer to what it will be in 3.25

Dear Helm Breaker,
I wanted to comment and say your build guide for the 3.25 CMA Necromancer is probably one of the most well written build guides or game guides I have seen thus far. I've played many games where I'll search up build guides as due to life obligations I don't invest a lot of time into gaming, however PoE has captivated me the past few leagues and I luckily have a bit more time on my hands. 550 hours into PoE prior to this league, just from starting your build I have learned so much about crafting mechanics and actually interacting with the game. You explain how to craft using fossils, you've taught me how to craft my own implicit modifiers using the ichors, you've showed me how to roll and for the first time ever half of the stuff I'm wearing was built from the ground up (okay, or a lvl 84+ 100% base that I bought for a few chaos). I'm engaging with all of the league mechanics and having SO MUCH FUN actually understanding how to improve bit by bit. I'm currently at the end bits of early game waiting to switch to mid til I level up a bit more and get a few divines under my belt, but wow. I really just wanted to commend you for such an informative, well written, detailed guide that has actually genuinely taught both me and my partner who plays as well so much. It seems like simple info but when the game has so many details it can be hard to feel like as a regular/casual gamer you can enjoy (or even arrive to) the endgame. Many guides just show you leveling and then throw you into the end game, without considering the early mapping/mid experience as there are many divines (which are HARD to get!) difference between them and a lot of knowledge missing. Your guide was the first time I've progressed with ease. So thank you, 11 days into the league and I'm already lvl 93, 2 voidstones, all maps completed and LOTS learned. Keep it up!

I tested this last night on an old Necro, low 80s with completely garbage gear and slapped on just a +1 wand, +1 helm and +1 shield - all three are reasonably attainable. My AG was also just in a +1 unset ring and only had dying breath and leer cast. Gem levels were between 15 and 17. The only spectres I had were two chieftains bc I aint messaging anyone on standard for the others. My chaos res was still in the negatives. I only had one jewel socketed into a stygian and it just gave chance to poison. No flat added, complete trash.
Uber lab was a joke, the minions destroyed Izarro. T12 map bosses and rares went down without even having to summon the vaal skellies, only one that took a bit was Soul Eater rare...but yea...that's a problem for anyone with trash gear.
I put on Asenath's and it definitely helps with clear, but it honestly wasn't that bad without because shield charge is ridiculous. I didn't feel the need to test further, early reds in garbage gear is league start perfection.
The only thing that could potentially feel off is phys damage reduction since we don't run a nerfed Determination. Guessing the endurance charge cluster will address that. Not to mention there's minions leeching, blinding and taunting enemies - that's a defensive layer in itself. Also visual clarity will suck big time, especially in lab. Outside of those minor qualms, the build slaps.
TLDR - Nothing feels starved and on garbage gear I'm mapping early reds just fine, but even more importantly, it's comfy AF. I'm definitely league starting this, thanks for the build!

Yeah you get 20% phys dmg reduction if you get the enduring composure node from 5 endurance charges (Which you have 100% uptime on in maps), 10% bone barrier, 5% chaos golem and then pantheons like Lunaris and Gruthkul for more phys reduction. This is helped with the changed Flesh and stone gem that will give us 19% less damage taken from anything in melee range (which we are a lot because we shield charge into enemies)
You can use enduring cry instead of faster attacks for bosses just to jump start the endurance charges when you have non.

It is basically cheaper, tankier and has more damage at least on the early & Mid budgets. (My mid is probably a little more expensive tho for like 2-3x dmg)

@@user-ux3jp9oo7r Frostbearers are pure cold so they would do nothing for the build. We already get exploding AG with asenath in low budget so we have good clear already.
Something I changed is I put in 250 minion accuracy, took out precision, added blasphemy with despair and basically its dash, proc poison with holy relic. I'm still trying to figure out how you managed 5 endurance charges. This is a fantastic first build on maxroll. I'm proud of you helmbreaker, been using your builds since 3.23. Although your god tier helmet with 2 minion/dam/horror essence/hypothermia was impossible for me to remake
To use blasphemy with despair you would need to remove another aura or did you take Sovereignty and drop other points?
@@HelmBreaker594 I took sov, dropped precision. I also used automation with convocation and steelskin, I know cwdt would be more useful though. Any chance on sharing your atlas strat?
@@stevenward4830 You should NEVER use convocation with automation. This will move your minions away from enemies when you need to dodge stuff and you cant control it when you want to convocate on top of enemies to focus damage.

Yes, you should be able to farm both of those somewhat early on if you upgrade your gear as you progress.

The clip is with Asenath yes, clear is "ok" without it but becomes much better when you have it.
hey bro the build is super fun as I'm just starting the game as a complete beginner. I have some questions tho, sorry if it's very newbie, I can't seem to find the answers
1. Sometimes in the passive skill tree it goes more than 1 points progress (maybe from quest points) but I still lack some. Is there anything I'm missing out?
2. Currently on act 6, and I didn't kill as fast as on act 1-5. Is this normal or I'm just impatient?
3. Regarding builds and point 2, I also have a hard time finding the right gear for your gem builds. Do you have any tips?

1. You are correct, it jumps more than one point because some quests give skill points.
You can do /Passives to see what quests you have gotten points from and then check PoE wiki for what quests give skill points.
2. It can go a bit slower as you progress through the acts yes. Make sure you update your absolution link setup to what is show in the leveling section, since gems change during lvling.
Make sure you do the labyrinth to ascend into a necromancer three times during the campaign. (Three different difficulties)
3. Check the NPC vendors for items with 4 links etc when you visit town.
Otherwise you can buy cheap items from other people in trade league.
Armour items have a higher chance to be red and energy shield has a higher chance to be blue so you know that.

Hello!! "you count as on low life while at 55% of maximum life or below" used in minion build? what does it interact with?
nothing at all for this build, we grab all life masterys for the 10% more life.

Hey great build. Friend of mine convinced me to give PoE another shot with the latest league . I just got into endgame with this kit and im following your guide on maxroll as best as i can but i had some questions. Can i message you on disc about it or something?

Mr. Helm Breaker in the maxroll guide it states in pt 14 of progression that after respeccing, we should be allocating leech mastery. However, i cant find the pob tree to match this change. Should i be basing my build off POB and the notes there or Maxrolls progression tab?
Do you have an old PoB? The latest Early & Medium PoB has leech mastery.

I dont really farm anything specifically since I craft mostly to make currency. You can basically farm what ever you want as long as it is not legion.

maybe its a skill issue but my zombies die kinda often in t16s right now (lvl 24 gem) unless I spam summon skeletons to regen
not using AG yet, maybe thats the reason? I can comfortably do t12-t13, but t16 destroys my zombies
Do you have summon phantasm linked with spectre+golem ? And then life from death medium cluster as well as minion def mastery that gives 8+ maximum res?

Sorry if this is explained somewhere, but why do we take 2 different mobility skills?
Shield charge can not go through terrain like mountains or leap over distances. Flame dash/ frostblink can. Shield charge is otherwise a really good mobility skill.

@@HelmBreaker594 In your PoB for the build, under Skills in Act 2, it says Raise Zombie 7 + 4/0
@@Akarin33 The raise zombie gem will be around lvl 7 in act 2 (therefor set to lvl 7) and +4 is the amount of zombies you can summon. The quality of the gem is set to 0.

Automation and convocation is a bad play.
Can I swap the Chaos Golem for the Carrion Golem for a better cleanse? Or even without the Buff is the damage more than enough? Thinking about a non-Hardcore league.
You should still have chaos golem, as soon as you get Asenath on your AG clear speed is improved massively. Carrion golem will make no difference.
I did the calculation based on your POB, and I saw that the difference in damage is minimal, and without the chaos golem the general defense drops a lot, thanks for explaining too. Regarding the spectrums, I don't know if you are playing in this league but are they still the same ones you put in MAXROLL, or have you found one that is more worthwhile?
@@WallenfFerreira I dont have any Grand Spectrums in the build or do you mean spectres? The recommended ones are in the guide.

No, they do only cold damage. This is a chaos damage and poison build.
@@HelmBreaker594 much obliged :) btw. in the PoB version in the lvl 70 tree, you take the Life Mastery "Count as low life at 55% or below".. I'm guessing that's wrong?
@@Hillgrov no, we want to take all life masterys to get the benefit of 10% more life.

I have tried to add a lot of the simpler crafts to the guide and a few advanced but in the end it is a build guide and not a crafting guide :)
@@HelmBreaker594 i crafted, helmet with ur tips from guide, boots and gloves with envy essence and suppresion fracture. Would you give any tips which content would be the best to farm? I know you wont share all of ur secrets but any hint would help.
@@witamiozrowiepytam I mainly profit craft to make my currency. As for content to farm it is basically what ever you like to do except legion. You can look up farming strategies that other people put up.
what do you think about raise zombie of slamming?(alt quality)
Slamming zombies are a large single target dps loss and they are irrelevant for clearing since our AG has asenath for explosions.

@@carterpiepriscila There is a "cast" time for the zombie to do the slam and if the enemy dies before the slam is done the zombie never attacks. So you have a clunky AI that will lower the single target damage.

I dont use frostbearers. You should not use frostbearers with this build. That is a perfect judgemental spirit.

Can this build do simulacrum?
Yes, you would need at least the Mid game setup to do a full simu. When I tried the Early covenant setup on simu I managed to get to wave 24.
what atlas are you running with this build?
You can basically run what ever you like besides legion

I like to do Harbringers, deli mirror and abyss early on. I dont really have a specific strat to farm. Ultimatum could work well also. Just dont do legion.

We already get a lot of resistances from Commander of darkness and purity of elements.
@HelmBreaker594 I see. And for spectres, ppl been using arena master for years, but the buff uptime seems extremely short, IDK why this spectre is so popular
@@MSakura-fp9pl The buff is short but the boost it gives is very strong even with a 33% uptime. It is also a very tanky spectre.

I was baited so many times into TANKY minion builds. This one looks different, but I am not sure anymore. I always aim to get to lvl 100 in one or two weeks. Do you think it's a good build for me? I really hate squishy builds, but I don't want to play gladiator. Is it good for sanctum? Thanks in advance!
You can look at the max hit without the guard skill active (Default in my pobs) and that is quite high I would say. You can compare it to the common pSRS build which is paper in comparison.

Remember to focus on upgrading items that has +1 to minion skill level to improve damage and minion survivability.
