I'm all about foreign players. Cedi Osman 2017-18 rookies is my low hanging fruit. I also like getting top vets in their new team uniforms for the first time. It's like another rookie card for them.

Here’s one issue though I have with smaller companies that will grade and slab your cards which is, a lot of people won’t recognise the smaller companies there for the demand for that card is way less even if it’s a 9 or 10. It sucks man but seems to be where the hobby is at. I’m not much of a psa fan myself as I feel they’re over priced and not consistent with their gradings. Bgs at least tell you how the card got it’s grading.
I’ll throw a retired player, all time great into the mix. Kobe Bryant Fleer, Skybox, Z-force, Ultra, CC and Hoops rookies are all still very attainable. Grab all of them all for under $20. Straight steals imo.
Ben Simmons is an excellent investment right now. With him getting hurt and not being in the picture in these playoffs his cards have dipped. He's a perennial all-star player with potential to be even more than that

Yup, i picked up a few Bagley early last year, SGA and Siakam are great choices...i can still kick myself for being happy that my optic Siakam auto went from $3 to $20 and sold it for $20 last year...lol ouch
I live in Oklahoma. I've been watching Shai all season and started picking up his rookie cards awhile back. That guy is gonna be good. Definitely agree with you on that one.

Lol bubbles are every where just wait 5 years later most of these mentioned will be at least 50% - 75% cheaper I've been collecting basketball since mid 90s and it's always the same cycle - hype, speculation, reality, over supply - just go back and look at Blake Griffin, Demar DeRosen, Dime Lillard, John wall etc
Siakam at 26 yrs old is a little old for any long term investment short term maybe if you can flip for a quick profit. Bagley at only 21 is a good pick and Shai is also only 21 and is already getting pumped big time right now. If you can get anything cheap right now, definitely a good buy for the future. For the Luka Chronicles, I think the Crusade and Classics rcs are a better buy for under $25 than the Luminance. The Crusade is chrome finish and is the next best chrome Chronicles card after the Phoenix rc and the Classics card is harder to find and an overall better looking card than the Luminanace in my opinion. Either way, Luka is Luka so any rc you can get of his is a good move, but for long term investment, I think those other 2 Chronicle rcs will end up being higher priced.

Injury riddled players aren’t typically good for resell. Cool cards to own though. I really like John wall. I just don’t see much of an opportunity to make money on those
I mean just because there souring doesn’t mean he can’t be traded to another team and do amazing. If he’s as good as he is and has bad chemistry with Fox than once he finds a teammate with good chemistry he may do a lot better.
Good information my dude... i was watching a jaren Jackson and his card has the black optic shock lines... i thought it was cool anf maybe certain teams has it so i would not have known that it was a defect... also bu just watching a card alot of the time the sellers will offer a deal of some amount. The biggest offer i got was for 8 dollars and he was asking for 15dollars.. lol.. i couldn't believe it i clicked accept so fast.

For example, if a graded 10 card of a LeBron card sells for $500. How much do you think that same card that is a 9 or an 8 should be sold for? 15-20% lower for a 9? And 25-30% lower for an 8? As a Kings fan, if you invest in Marvin you have chromes desease, and him and Fox's relationship is souring

Yeah, of course. The prices will should go down a bit on them. Just don't expect to flip them very easily until next season. 👍🏻
