Thanks for revealing your thought process and the sideways glance techniques! It’s great to know how much thought an expert such as yourself puts into the choices you make. I sometimes feel like I overthink things but now I know I am not alone! And it’s all ok!
I love that you do not have a stitch regulator. It gives hope to the rest of us who also do not have one. I quilt on an over 100 year old singer Tailor machine, so it has a lot of harp space, but no technology.
I love watching your videos. I learn something every time. I have given up on a brand new machine because I keep having tension issues. I put it away for a while and went back to my old standby which quilts like a dream but has a really small throat space. Your comment about tension gives me hope that someday i will conquer that new machine. So I thank you so much for that. Your quilt is absolutely beautiful.
oh I totally missed the live chat. My notifications is not loud enough. Angela I am finishing a butterfly EPP and it is turning out to be round..ish. How did you sew your EPP onto your background fabric as I do want to make my piece larger.? Loved all your information, stitch in the ditch and the visual way you attack the project. Thanks.
Enjoy your shows. I have a husqvarna viking lily 555 and would like to try to work with some rulers but I cannot find a foot for rulers that fit my machine. I have tried 3 different universal feet but again they don't work. When the foot is on it is so tight I can't move the quilt sandwich. Yes I feed dogs are down. Any suggestions?
I used to have the same problem, and the general advice to prevent this was to try and slow down when quilting around bends, as we tend to speed up when we are quilting circular sections. I did slow down but I was still having that problem, and despite not many advising to change the tension on the machine, I experimented, upped the tension a bit at a time and eventually the problem was solved by changing the tension from 4 to almost 6! Now I have no problem quilting arcs, strange isn’t it? Carry on practising on small samples, and don’t be afraid to get to know what your machine needs for FMQ and go for it ,❤

Thank you for letting us pick your brain! This was lots of fun to watch!

Loved what I could hear/understand - I'm legally deaf so I rely on closed captions.

Girl, have you lost weight? Your face looks thinner than normal. Your hair is getting so long!!! Good job!!!❤❤
