For God's sake Eliot! That temper of his! Snapping at Rodney, when there is as yet no proof that the baby is even related to the Carsons. He needs to stop always jumping the gun.
Elliot seems to forget that he was a married man and got an 18yr old Connie pregnant ..he acts like he's above such things. Jumping all over Rod..Rod was single
I love Payton Place. It's like one, big mental hospital. Every state should have a few towns like this, scattered around and clearly marked so "normal" people can avoid them.
In other episodes it shows a long car ride to get out to the Peyton estate....but "Jill" runs from the town square carrying a baby in a carrier and then all of a sudden arrives there on foot.
The writing on this show went down the tubes after Martin Peyton left. None of the new characters are the least bit interesting and the story lines all suck.
Where does Jill find the money to engage Steven as her lawyer? And why does everyone keep coming to the house? Does Steven work from home now? Saving money cos he has to pay Betty alimony?
How does this Jill manage to afford the cost of employing legal counsel? A single mother, desperately in need of work just to keep the baby fed? Come ON….
As someone has already mentioned I am tired of this same storyline with a young girl coming to town, Dr. Rossi taking her under his wing, and getting all wrapped up in their life. The only thing left for him to do is offer her a sedative! He always has a bottle nearby. But I do have a feeling something HUGE is about to happen about Jill and the baby. A great plot twist! I am addicted to this show and I am here to the end whatever comes next.
Dan Duryea is a really cool actor, in all films he creates charming character and this one is not an exception why steven still keeps Betty's portrait on wall? she is gone to another man, I expected he would change it with landscape or something like that
democolor42 I thought Dan Duryea was a great actor, too. Eddie was funny: always smiling, always trying to put another spin on things. He was a lovable con man. Sadly, he died only a few months after these episodes aired. :-( I think the reason Steven kept Betty's portrait on the wall was Steven's way of saying he was never going to give up on trying to win her back.
@@Skylark_Jones Steven loves wallowing in self-pity. He's been doing it ever since he found out he's a Peyton. It would be out of character for him to take down that picture. It allows him to continue to wallow.
Joyce Jillson studied opera, started out on Broadway and was a success there. She should have stayed in NY. In my opinion, the camera just did not love her.
Maybe if it is Alison’s baby it was that man’s baby , who had her bracelet in his car. They are disregarding that whole plot. And also, Alison didn’t even want Rodney to touch her never mind have sex
I can't stop watching this series. It's getting dire!
I know what you mean. I was addicted before the first episode ended

Elliot is a powder keg ready to blow and is likely headed back to prison because of it.
Connie got the ball rolling. Elliot didn't believe Jill's lies at first, but Connie did.

LOL!

Ah, the magic of television.

And especially the mansion is on a hill

I think an oral agreement reached between the two.
Oh, that's too funny! I'm dying laughing! I think you should use the term "verbal" agreement instead of "oral". @@HighrSelf
Elliott makes an ass out of himself at every opportunity.

No doubt, doctors were handing Barbiturates out by the boatload back then.

Love Dr Rossi offering a sedative. I wonder if he ever laughed when he had to say that line again.
The doorbell ringing at Steven's house and him hollering for Mary is becoming redundant.
@@rhondabitler2461 Mary should have quit when Peyton left. Steven is a terrible boss.
Steven doesn't need an office. Just come to the mansion!

Oh no, so sad way you just said about dan, so sad

I expect Stephen hasn't got over Betty, has he? You expect him to, so soon after the split?
Dan Duryea's last appearance was May 9, 1968, with his death occurring a month later on June 7 (cancer)....

I feel sorry for Connie. To have no proof of your daughters where a bouts or even of she is really alive. Easy to see her desperation.
Jill is lying if her mouth is moving.
Maybe Jill can give the baby to Norman and Rita.

Rossi's place looks like it's filmed in black and white
Rodney effected all girls psychologically, starting "sweet" and then goes astray and awry
I'm getting tired of hearing Jill and the baby and Steven trying to say that Jill's baby could be Rodneys.
Joey is creepy & at this point I can’t see any redeeming qualities in him..
Don't get that angry, Elliot. For once, Rodney is innocent.(Chuckle!)
Elliot is famous for jumping to conclusions then beating everyone over the head with them. He's wrong a good deal of the time.
