I don’t do lists but that’s smart. I keep a bag of basic/essentials packed 24/7 and add things that I need once I double-check everything.

I'm going to start making a list, this is a great tip. I pack like you but I wrap my shoes in a plastic bag so they don't soil my clothes. I also put any liquids in a ziplock bag, like lotion, perfumes, toiletries...etc.

If I did not carry the toiletries bag I would've put the liquids in a plastic bag a well. My mother does that lol.
