Licence to Kill is one of the best Bond movies. Great song, great revenge plot, gorgeous kick-ass Bond girl, gorgeous kick-ass villain girl who turns out good, brilliant villain, brilliant villain sidekick, thrilling climax. Fantastic!
This is my favourite bond film and opening fantastic song sung by gladys knight she sang it brilliantly and so dramatically In a good way the end song sung by Patti labelle if you asked me to is great too and one of my favourite songs lyrics were written by the legendary and world renowned song writer Diane Warren who has won a few awards for her work in the industry of music
One of the greatest of all Bond songs. It has the grandeur, the emotion, the strings, the horns and the class. This is archtypal in the very best of ways.
Licence to Kill is my favorite James Bond theme of all time! it's the song makes me feel good when I cosplay as James Bond with confidence at Comic Cons
Movie was so dope - Dalton's Bond was the Daniel Craig version years before Daniel Craig did it. Bad Ass - and this theme is THE BEST BOND THEME EVER !!!
Agreed with below. Underrated film. One of the greatest intros. I love the hint of Goldfinger in the song it helps the feel that this is not just a theme song; it's a Bond theme song.
I love the infusion of Goldfinger in the intro of the song. Over the years, I've really come to appreciate Timothy Dalton's Bond. This was a great film. How can you go wrong with Robert Davi as your villain?
And the ending was epic: MAJOR SPOILER! The script ending was pure Bond: Sanchez (just as he's about to kill him) "You could have had everything." Bond: "And you want to know why?" Bond blows him up with a lighter given to him as a wedding present from Sanchez' victims. Poetic justice.
The last great Bon song - till Joss Stone continued the tradition with the title song of Bloodstone (PS3, 360). This is is the short version, the maxi version is about 5:30. thanks for the video.
There was supposed to be a third film for Timothy Dalton but didn't happen because of dispute between the film studio and the film company which lasted for 5 years.
@@hassan_0160 The title for the suppose third Dalton's James Bond film was called "The Property Of A Lady". So far the only four Ian Fleming's short James Bond stories that hasn't been adapted yet to be use as James Bond movie titles are The Property Of A Lady, The Hildebrand Rarity, Risico and 007 In New York.

The gun barrel..you know Bond ain't gonna take shit off anyone!
+Mark Flute One of the best gunbarrels in the series

Licence to Kill was the first James Bond movie that I ever watched.

the best song of james bond film's for me !
Movie was so dope - Dalton's Bond was the Daniel Craig version years before Daniel Craig did it. Bad Ass - and this theme is THE BEST BOND THEME EVER !!!
30th anniversary in 2019. They better bring this underrated gem of a James bond movie back to the big screen !
They did for 60th anniversary 2022
They did for the 60th!
Tim, absolutely my favourite as Bond and second best movie after Dalton's first outing 🤩
This is one of my favorite movie openings. Pisses me off that they don't do it like this any more.
On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Licence To Kill are 2 of my favorite 007 movies.
Because they're both kind of sad.
I wouldn’t call it sad, I’d call it anger inducing and brutal, which makes the ending satisfying, and the movie constantly keeps u on your toes
My favourite best chilling evengefull Bond gun barrel sequence ever.. best dark bond movie ever.. as it should be 👍🏻👍🏻
La meilleure chanson des james bond
best team song ever!!! love it!!

This intro... Lot of chills.
I'm glad this song was for a Dalton film.

Fucking A!
sad thing Dalton needed so much time to get his fanbase... his two movies flopped so hard on the theaters we're still trembling now...
haroof franz sanchez, the best and the darkest bond villain ever
And the ending was epic:
MAJOR SPOILER!

A Sch sanchez is the best bond vilain and the darkest, an epic death . Go in hell Sanchez ! Darkest bond ever
LTK and TLDL 2 underrated James Bond movies especially LTK.

MELHOR ABERTURA DE TODOS 007 .!
It's better than Goldeneye
Eu amo essa música, vóz maravilhosa de Glady
James Bond ask Gladys Knight to sing the song for the movie and Gladys Knight sounds very good and I enjoy watching this movie
Uma bela e sensual canção

Best 007 intro song (next to Goldeneye)
and Goldfinger lolz
best song ever!!!
t'enflammes pas non plus
i know it's a bit random, and i'm being a bit ocd here - but there's no "theme sung by Gladys Knight" in the credits and it's bugged me for years 😂😂😂
this is so crisp and powerful. why did they ever devolve into the forgettable computer graphics stuff in the late 90s/early 00s?
I like the movie as well and I enjoy watching this movie and I have to go and get the movie at Target. At the mall
What an amazing ending I agree!
RIP Sir Roger Moore
Best guy to play bond
This movie came out in a very tough summer competing with Lethal Weapon 2 and Batman.
Also Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade!
Yes
cbiz license to kill brought me here go listen to that
Michael t jheez u know
It was best if Timothy Dalton should star in three James Bond films instead of two.

Show!
sucks that it doesn't show her song credit here
Denis Sanchez I know
This movie was made in 1977
No, 1989
The Spy Who Loved Me is made in 1977.
does anyone ever have a licence to kill ?
Dalton was ahead of his time
I actually think Daniel Craig is a great James Bond, better than Brosnan. Dalton is also one of my favourites!
Fantastic but you can't compare it to skyfall
Agree. It's superior to skyfall.
007 the greatest Communists Hunter in the world.
so 80s and cheesy!
That's a cheap Rhianna track compared to this, my friend
Speed is not correct
Skull fu you usually find that in most film intros of the period. They were slightly tweaked to make the intro more 'snapper'.
It’s in PAL, higher pitch and higher speed
It was best for Timothy Dalton to star in only two James Bond films.
fathomflaw Yes quality over quantity. Same should of been for Pierce Brosnan. Goldeneye was pretty good others were mediocre.
+Chi Wan tomorrow never dies was the best
