Maguire is a warrior what a player when he’s on form. He’s underachieved, if Maguire plays his best snooker not many will fancy playing him, he’s a powerful player and can blast you off the table.
To say Shaun's been pumping his fist when it was just the interval , twice, pretty sure maguire has had that pent up, well done 👏

@@user-if7rq3qd5u How exactly is Hendry so great ? Lets remember the standard he had to play back when he won so many titles the only real competitors he had was Davis and White. Ronnie won most of his titles with a much stronger field with so many top players that can win it any day just to name a few Trump, Wilson, Higgins, Selby, Williams, Robertson, Allen, Murphy the list goes on and on. So in conclusion he was a great player for the opponents he had to face, did he have any of the type of opponents I mentioned he would definitely not have won much or ANY.

@@user-if7rq3qd5u Clueless. When i know GOAT Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Stephen Hendry most times and have won more than Hendry that couldn't get past the 90s. He lead Hendry 9-4 in finals, and beat Hendry 17-4 & 17-6 and made Hendry cry and wet his knickers.

I may not be as young as I once was,but I remember Ray Reardon offering a rink of water to one punter who was coughing and spluttering away in a match at the Crucible.
I tune in for two things really.

@@user-ii4sk3zy6b I know I noticed that, it must be a recent change at the world championships, interesting it’s only certain players.
Stephen Maguire gets a medical release for not having to wear a neck tie as is the rules for everyone else. Why does he get a pass on the attire requirements that all others must comply with? If you're unable or incapable of abiding by the rules that are imposed on all the other players he should simply not be allowed to compete. He should be disqualified.
If he got a medical release, then there's probably a valid reason you numpty.
Did you notice that Tom Ford and Jak Jones weren't wearing one either? Seems they've relaxed the rules a bit; an "encouraged but not required" sort of thing.
@@mattrange5439 I didn't notice! 😳 Thanks for pointing that out. I've actually seen referees intervene on violations of attire. Ding Junhui showed up for an event with his tan suit only to have make an urgent shopping trip for a black suit! 😂 Trying to preserve the culture I guess. Admittedly this is a small issue but just wanted to point out that rules should be applied equally across the board to all participants. Thanks again for correcting me. 👍 😊

Really disrespectful from Steve Davis to make a comment like that at 5:06, he knows the entire crowd have headsets and can hear him. Causing the audience to laugh when someone is about to pot match ball shows a real lack of respect.
What? He just acknowledged that putting different side on the cue ball was the better way than Davis's way.

They were possibly laughing at something that was said on the Eurosport commentary but it definitely wasn't what Steve said.
As far as I know, when the audience get headsets, they can choose which commentary they want to listen to.
