Not only is it nice but its of higher quality than can be bought almost anywhere. Soldered and heat shrunk connections completely covered in proper tape. Great work!
This video is amazing.. I just following the steps, but you need to write more in deacription. That you need to do sanding after the paint removing step. Because after using paint remover, the silver layer didn't com out. So we need to do sanding. For more information by my experience (just did it today), i sanded it using 320 grit of sandpaper and water. And one more thing i found by experiment. It will be better if we using masking tape that made off plastic or other material that will not scratch when applying the paint remover. I meant it will be more better if it not a paper material masking tape. Overall this video really good. Thanks a lot. 🙏
Sanding is needed when you don't have the etching cream to make the glass blurry. You can do the sanding process without using paint remover. Yes you are right, if we use a much better tape and have a better adhesiveness. You might have more cleaned and sharper edges.
No. I mean, if you used a sand paper to scratch out the silver layer you don't need the etching cream to make the glass blurry because the sand paper does its job in Removing the Silver layer and making it blurry.
@@gudvooy2 no, i did sanding it. But it's not blurry.. It's clear.. Maybe it will getting blurry if i use a lower grit of sandpaper, without water when doing sanding.
@ Mogi Sanjaya thank you so much, I used the paint remover. But, then noticed there was still mirror under the grey layer. So, I went through comments and found your ty so grateful that you shared this.
The glue on the Duck Tape will react with the silver backing and you will see discolouration/stains after a few months. There is however a special adhesive for mirrors that is stable and not cause the staining effect.
For next video please show me how to make a ghost appear then disappear in the mirror. Maybe add speakers that can play scary noises? It's for kids room. :))

You can buy the power source of 12v DC or depending on the LED power supply required. You can buy the sensor switch in the description. Click the link.
Hi! love your video,You convince me to try but on a round mirror. I have a question, the cable you had between the touch switch and the "exit" of the frame (i don't have the vocabulary-sorry) are part of the packaging /order on aliexpress ? (for the touch switch) And what kind of cable did you use to connect the set with with a the extern plug? (hope i'm clear) Love what you do.
Also do you think it would work if i used the led lights that come with a remote ? Could i still wire it to the touch sensor but use the remote to change the colors ?
I'm not sure if you can do it. It would require a good connection. Try this but take your own risk. I will not responsible for any injuries and damages for any misconnection will be made. You may connect first the the sensor switch from 12v supply then connect your led with remote to the output of the sensor switch. But remember that the output for the sensor which would be led but you can try the said procedure. Good luck.

Does this sensor work without removing the mirrored surface? Can I just place it in the center at the bottom and touch that spot or do I need clear glass for it to work properly. Thanks for posting the video. The connections are all very clear.

@@drazmishah It actually doesn't work through the mirrored surface, it has to be a clear spot. My inquiry was because I got a mirror with LED lights around the perimeter, but the vendor hadn't put in a touch switch and I wanted to add one.
