Her clothes used to fit her personality very well, but now her outfits make me question why someone so serious would ever wear the shit she does now.

I actually really like this arc. I like the opening too. Orignally i didnt but it really grew on me. Seeing luffy running and smiling and having his crew beside him was great especially after EVERYTHING hes been through. Reminded me of everything i been through and really did shed a tear
I love that Stelly has become a running gag, hahaha! Interesting that you like most of the New World designs of the Straw Hats, as I felt (and still feel) that Robin and Nami, in particular, are much worse. I do, however, love Chopper's new horn point design and kind of wish that was his standard form as a more teenage-look for him. I also feel that quite a few of their personalities have become watered down compared to some of the complexities of earlier on... but then, I feel that's something that starting quite heavily in Thriller Bark.
All I can say is I'm glad that after Dressrosa Nami starts wearing clothes that aren't just a bra. She was still great but it was a bit hard to take her seriously.
What I love about this arc is how every Straw Hat's trainer/associate from where they teleported get to help them escape by fighting against the marines 😎

I’m glad you touched on the reverse voices in the anime. I really enjoy this arc. I love Sabody as location so I’m a sucker. I also enjoyed seeing he SHs getting some serious attention. Something that Oda did a great job carrying over. The only gripe I have is Caribou and the anime did drag this arc out a bit.
Sabaody was an amazing arc. The redesigns and power ups were needed. I also really like perona's new design. Franky's like gear fourth was the only design that took me a while to love which I do know. I wish that I got into one piece earlier, so I could have been there for the hype of these chapters.
I actually really hate Franky's redesign. I felt as though it completely dehumanised him and focused way to much on the weapons and cyborg part of franky, instead of his shipwright capabilities, which is a big reason why Luffy invited him to the straw hat pirates. His human design looked good and matched his character. Strong arms for building ships and then also weapons inside those arms for combat which also matched his backstory involving the battle frankys. Yeah, they're machines of destruction meant to take down sea kings, but they are still boats requiring expert ship building skills. Now he looks like an oversized lego figure.
The after timeskip as a whole felt like it got shatted on by a rainbow. So much COLOR! Not that I'm complaining. It has that very nice welcoming palette that I don't think we had completely before timeskip. I remember how hype I was to see all the Straw Hats again, and I loved their new looks, well except Franky. I didn't hate it, I just needed some time to get used to it. And the power ups! MY GOD! At this point, no ordinary person can ever touch the more "weaker" Straw Hats, like Nami and Usopp, so I tip my hat off to you, Oda. Speaking of Usopp, I LOVED this redesign the most! Longer hair, a small beard, more muscle, his power ups. etc. He had the best glow-up!

Franky: - though making him more robot makes sense, making him more toy is just stupip I see no real reason he has to have these massive arms... - while his japanese voice actors fits perfectly, I think that the german voice, I grew up with and fit very well to the old design, will not fit at all to BF-37. Nami: - prefer the short hair and boobs that fir the body shape - she will never wear her Water-7 (or anything similar) like that again. Robin: - I like the design, actually, but there is just something with her face that irritates me. It feels like she aged by like 10 years and not by 2.
I think special mention should also go to the people who helped the Straw Hats get back to Sabaody in the first place. Not only that but they all helped the crew escape the island when the Marines tried to chase them, showing just how much of an impact each of the crew members had on their respective journeys for the past two years. I particularly liked how Boa Hancock encouraged Luffy to keep a low profile and to wear a disguise (admittedly a silly one but it is Luffy and Hancock after all so there's that) as well as Perona for having to put up with Zoro's bad habit of getting lost all the time.

The big disappointment for me here is that after 2 years, Robin, a Prodigy, comes back with like, 2 or 3 minor new Devil Fruit Tricks and that's it. Seriously, she had 2 years to work with dragon, Hack, Sabo, Koala, and we KNOW she worked with them cause they confirmed that in Dressrosa when she bumped into them. Koala was hugging her for a reason. And that's all she got. No Haki, no badass new martial arts to go WITH being able to make clones and possibly giant clones, nothing.
She has tons of tricks but after the timeskip, Oda, for whatever reason, doesn't like to let the female Straw Hats fight anymore so we never get to see anything.

More so since her full body clones have shown they can be hit with damage and not deliver it directly too her back on Fishman Island. (If I recall right it was when Luffy and Jembei were getting rowdy with one another shortly before the big confrontation with the arc villain at the end. Been while though so I could be recalling that specific detail incorrectly.). And yeah, I'm not sure why Oda is so bent on not having it, particularly since he is sort of committed to doing SOMETHING with it at least 1-2 more time's cause of Big Mom and the fat that at least 1 of Black Beards higher ranking Officers is a Woman and you KNOW his top officers will be involved in a major battle with The Straw Hats at some point. And since he HAS to have it anyway now, might as well embrace it and let Nami and Robin be hitting at a level were there keeping up properly.
