I'm not Irish, but I have always been in love with Ireland. I was fortunate enough to be there in 2009 and I became enamoured with its people, its landscapes, its history, its mithology, its customs, its cities, everything. Newgrange was particularly magical and moving and I just couldn't leave. I can't wait to go back! Beautiful video! Greetings from Argentina.

I have been lucky enough to drive through the Boyne Valley 3 different times, Loughcrew, Newgrange, Knowth and Fourknocks. Such magical places, I too love going there to be by myself, to think, take in, absorb the power in these ancient places. Sadly Newgrange and Knowth are too commercialized to be able to do that, Loughcrew, was able to spend lots of time there alone, Fourknocks was by far my favorite! Very personal, was there for well over 1 hour with only the sheep reminding me where I was at. I so love the Boyne Valley and tell the people who are from there how lucky they are, take care of it as it is a mystical place and your words are icing on the cake, thanks for them and take care!

The best part of ourselves yearns for a magical place like Ireland. It's a quiet thing...we listen for...whispers spoken so softly...we scarce believe they were ever spoken.

And a very happy Winter Solstice to you, friend :)
My ancestors left Ireland on some of the earliest boats for America and Canada. We've always been restless, I suppose. You can look back across my direct line, and there hasn't been a single generation that grew up where their parents did before mine in over 200 years. My grandmother's family hit the Pacific Ocean and decided to stop. But there's a longing in my blood. This isn't the place for me. My greatest goal in life is to build the means to make a proper pilgrimage back to Ireland. At least to see how the earth feels.. if that makes any sense. It's the heritage of my maternal line and being removed by so many miles... it's just a sort of quiet madness deep down inside that doesn't ever quite subside. Like a fisherman's line he's let draw out too far while day dreaming. There's something precious attached by the thinest of threads and I feel so certain that if I don't reel in a great treasure could be lost to me. My great grandmother had a well known gift for dreaming and insight, I've always felt I was blessed with it as well. And every part of me is certain Ireland is wholly unique from Her soil to Her sky and every being between. Nothing is more important to me than getting back. But your videos bring me tremendous peace while I labor to make it all possible for myself. Thank you very much for all the time you put in to your content.

+Kaji Ikiro dear Kaji, your sentiments are breathtaking. I may feel that way too, I just never knew! does that make sense?? My first and conscious Winter Solstice, I feel like I am being incarnated into a new life. Breathtaking as well. The way the names are pronounced, the language triggers me. I want to hear more. It does sound natural, familiar. If I was to just listen to the vowel sounds and tongue inflections. Our history is being re-vealed back to us, re-stored, re-lived again in us. Right now! YAY!!!

I'm slightly late to listen to your Winter Solstice 2015 message but have still found it beautiful and poetic, wrapped in multiple and gossamer layers of Irish mythology. Go raibh mile maith agat!
