    My 60 volt phantom battery has 2 output ports ( XT 60 connectors) and uses 14 AWG wires. Has your out been upgraded to 12 AWG for example.

      I would say yes because its using XT90 connectors. That's surprising 60v version using XT60

      @@ruvrandomusefulvideos Thanks . Mine is one of the first Phantoms ( V1 ) here in Australia nearly 3 years ago. Did the V2 upgrade , now have just done the V3 upgrade. As I said in a comment to another of your videos, the 60 v, was converted to 52 volt, with a new BMS. Kept the wiring for simplicity as it had the two fuses already there.

    My Apollo scooter is now over a year old. I hope the battery will continue to last. Thanks

    I've bought an apollo phantom v4 in May 2024 and received phantom v3 with Quality control checklist done 2023.. very confused

    • @ruvrandomusefulvideos
      @ruvrandomusefulvideos  8 місяців тому +2

      If the Phantom you received has version 8 regen & throttle, meaning it's a V4. User manuals and labels might show V3 because Apollo doesn't replace those and they choose to confuse their customer by releasing multiple versions in a year instead of finishing all the updates and release 1 version per year.

      @@ruvrandomusefulvideos not to sure how to tell if they are Version 8 honestly 🤔 I'll have to look into it thanks for letting me know

      My Phantom is version 3 and it has Dynavolt battery so I would say yes.

    They have crap customer service! Received my phantom today with a rotor extremely bent out of shape. Will never by from them ever again!

    Apollo is the worst company Ive ever dealt with. Do not buy their products. They fail and worst customer experience ever.

    I am guessing all electric scooters share the same problem with battery packs due to the seasonal riding pattern. My Apollo Ghost battery pack died after not touching it one winter, (300KM only), bought a second battery and been riding it for 2 summers now, just have to remember to put it on the charger every month while in storage during the winter months. Recently blew a rear tire while riding high speed, and the scooter sent me flying at least 10 feet away while I landed, quite embarrassing while all the cars slow down and see if I was okay. Lol !! Ended up pushing the scooter home 10KM away under the hot sun. Read the manual and it states that the inner tube and tires should be replaced every 2000 Km. Man, this hobby is starting to cost me more money than driving a car. But the thrill of going 60KM/H on a scooter is worth the money. Sure cheaper than riding a motor bike anyway where you have to buy insurance every summer and service the thing too every summer.

      I'm glad you okay! And yes that's one of the cause of battery failure, but what happened to my Phantom is premature failure of the cell. My brother is riding it to work everyday and the next day just died and the worst thing is I never heard from Apollo that's why it's seat for a while untill I decided to fix it my self. Yes scooter is expensive hobby and now I am dreaming of Inmotion RS 😁

      I had aftermarket all rubber wheels put on ..no more flats

      Always check tire pressure too. When I bought my scooter used, I rode 10k with the front wheel completely flat and survived lol

    I had a similar problem. I had ordered the upgrade kit. This took place last year and I never received it. Someone has stolen it and I had told Apollo and he couldn’t find the replacement order so I never received it and I wind up losing the money I have for Apollo Scooters to phantoms one city, pro and the girls but I would never buy Apollo again because of that kind of hurt me because I’ve gotten an extra 10 people I believe to buy Apollo brand Scooters.

      Same here, I made 5 of my riding buddies plus my brother to buy Apollo scooter plus I use to promote Apollo scooter until they never pay me my commission, then ignoring all my suggestions and questions plus my warranty claim so I am done with Apollo, I am dreaming of Inmotion RS now.

    For $1000, an easy solution. Just buy a good pedal bike.

    • @ruvrandomusefulvideos
      @ruvrandomusefulvideos  9 місяців тому

      Agree 100% but the pedal bike is totally different, again I agree with you, the battery is just overpriced in my opinion.
