They always lead with "it depends". When the effing question is do you think most REGARDLESS of the TYPE of trauma would still prefer to live with said trauma or be dead. 80% 90%? 70%?
In other words based on the hypothetical, if i gave a statistic saying 40% of humans are experiencing trauma HOWEVER, only 10% of that 40% are unaliving themselves. BASED ON THAT. In conclusion most even "DEPENDING" on the person still would rather live with trauma than be dead. Keep this in mind. Just because youre "educated" doesnt mean you're intelligent. As an Army soldier for over 16 years, i can tell you that these wives aren't that traumatized when the husband dies. A lot of the crys for a month then have a new boyfriend within the year.

In 2011 I was in Iraq as an Army combat Engineer, and my identical twin was in Afghanistan as Marine Corps mortor man and dog handler. If we both died my mom AND dad would be 'victims' of war, but they sure as shit wouldn't have felt those IEDs and bullets.

I think these women are genuinely on the spectrum. They try to argue and seem logical and get mad at the fact that most people call them emotional yet they argue through emotion. It’s always the exception, and not All claims.
But victim doesnt imply that they are still alive. A murder victim is still the biggest victim but their family is secondary. So IF a man dies in war he is still the primary victim.

She answers the question, whether or not most people would rather get their shit taken away from them - but when the question of whether men or women are the biggest victims of war, she personalizes it and answers, “It’s situational” as if she doesn’t understand what a generality is, even though she answered the other question without issue. This is because she knows damn well men are the greater victims but doesn’t want to concede that fact so she’s weaseling out of it by making it a situational thing when the question is asking in generality.
So they don't understand what generalizations are, what speaking generally is, and they also can't understand what Primary means. We need a refund from these school taxes.

If a soldier goes to war and makes it out alive with majors PTSD. The family will still have trauma but not as much as the man. If he dies then the woman has SERIOUS trauma. The fact that the man determines how the family might feel proves that they are primary.
primary victim - the dead person (mostly man). secondary - the person affected by the death (family/relatives). It's as simple as that. How the panels not seeing eye to eye on this is astounding

Living with psychological heartbreak makes one _less_ of a victim than someone who got unalived on the battlefield; therefore, a mother whose son got drafted is not the primary victim. This is not hard to comprehend.

There's a pretty obvious question that is not being asked here.... would you rather feel bad because your men are bring subjected to the horrors of war, or would you rather be the one subjected to the horrors of war??
I’ve had more billets whizz past my head here in the U.S. than I did the entire time I was deployed in all 3 deployments I’ve been to. Most of my PTSD comes from living here in the states. In fact, it was so bad that I caught myself sitting there counting rounds during a fire fight at the front of the compound I was at while giving a briefing to a soldier we were trying to update and resupply. The PTSD comes in at the fact that I was counting rounds because of an incident that happened while I was at home on home town recruiting. There was a guy that has been surrounded by the police, the end result was a risk of 80-100 rounds being fired at this one person. So experiencing this “back home” was a bit more alarming than being in a war zone where it’s expected. More soldiers suffered from PTSD than from death . Soldiers don’t just suffer from “physical” pain, they also suffer from long lasting life changing injuries and PTSD. It’s never just one or the other for military personnel. The rate of suicide is much much lower for women than men. Women ATTEMPT divide at a higher rate than men. While MEN COMMIT SUICIDE AT A MUCH HIGHER RATE. Women lose the most when men lose the war. That loss is in status and finances with some emotional trauma. Which can be survived if they have a survivor mindset.
