    Katharine has literally replied to the Daily Mail’s insta post about it telling them to stop using her for their stories and that she personally found this harmless - it is ridiculous how the media pushes and pushes. All it does is undermine the actual victims of assault (and I’m including potentially Russell Brand’s victims too here).

    • @FullNietzsche
      @FullNietzsche 7 місяців тому +13

      The Mail went too far by so blatantly lying about this, when the video is there which proves Brand did nothing wrong. But what of the allegations where he can't prove his innocence? That's the trouble with trial by media and witch hunts.

    • @jessicasturgis5991

      I think it’s hilarious that the DM shared an article with the headline “Video resurfaces of Jimmy Fallon telling off Russell Brand after comedian “bounces Katherine McPhee”…along with probably at least 10 other articles just in the last 24 hours slamming him…and then they had to share another one where “Katherine denies Russell Brand made her feel uncomfortable”.

Radicalism and lefty are just for middle, classes and color people according to your views (I acknowledge you haven’t say it but is go like that) Wealth make you have more power and with great power come great responsibilities. Being rich give you the leverage and the means to spread a messenger of equality, it doesn’t made you hypocrite.

      Agree 100%. Katherine herself has now said not to involve her. You can’t be offended when the person is not offended and says there’s nothing here. This is insanity! And I’m no male apologist, (I just done a deep dive into mastersons case. Dude deserved what he got. There were documents he signed in the scientology CC from 20 years ago admitting it),
      But this is getting to a point of hysteria! I hate to use this example, but I’m afraid if someone doesn’t put the brakes on this we’re heading into dangerous territories. Like a modern Salem witch trial hysteria. I will wait to see what the accusations are, but RB has cut himself open and let his ugly out for all to see. He’s done a ton of work on himself. He’s admitted to awful things he’s done in addictions, so I’m not sure, if true,
      what the goal is here in coming forward besides $.

    I don't know Russell Brand more than whatever his public persona is, so I'm not going to speak to whether the allegations are true or not. That being said, I did follow an article implying what he did here was creepy and seemed to imply this is a part of the "pattern" of a predator. Anyone who actually watches this video should be able to see she willingly sat on his knee and then sat on his lap.
    If we're nitpicking the interaction and reading into things, why is Katharine willing sitting on another man's knee or in his lap if she is married? A man who just merely seconds prior had told you how attractive he found you. That seems out of line to me. Also, interestingly enough Katharine has gone on to denounce that there was any wrong doing in this clip (verifiable by a simple google search).
    This type of shit is why people don't trust the media anymore. Framing and clickbait articles in a rush to gain the most attention is what is killing actually investigative journalism and reporting of facts.

      @@sk26426I sure didn’t, but I went Back and watched. He hugs her when she’s on his lap, then grabs her hips and help her stand up off him. Big deal?🙄🙄 being overtly flirty and sexual is his schtick and always has been! Let’s not turn him into Danny Masterson, Cosby or Weinstein just yet. I’m not a male apologist, but you can’t celebrate Russell Brand for one thing and then turn on him for the same thing he was celebrated for. He’s done so Much work on himself and literally let all of his ugly out for the world to see. Seems like low hanging fruit to me?🤷🏼‍♀️

      @@sk26426she literally sat on his lap. That's rapey. He couldn't move. How on earth can you be this daft and still alive? Stupid you are, breed you must not. I'm sorry but this is moronic of you, no way around that. Anyway Catherine debunked your worries publicly already. She told no harm no foul basically and not to include her in whatever they're trying to achieve against Brand. Does it make you feel stupid, yet?

      Yeah, he is. You could watch his talk show Brand X on the net if you can find it, it got cancelled after 2 seasons though :( Shame, it was brilliant. Or you could look up Ponderland episodes on youtube. :)

    Fucking hell. It's probably shocking the damage he has left in his wake. If he is so blatant on camera, in front of a live audience with a prime time host. You have to wonder how he is in a house, just him and the poor whoever that's there with him. I think this is about to become a huge scandal. Obviously innocent until proven guilty. But this isn't looking good.
