Mariana, my mother was mentally ill she wanted me but couldn’t have me, my father give me and my sister away when I was 7 keeping my youngest brother and sister who had everything, I lived with other families who only wanted the money not me so I learned to turn off not beat myself up,it is what it is unfortunately for some like us,

Ok...my history with this song goes WAY back, and it has been a decisive part of my formative years. I was one of the infamous moby boardies back in the day of the unmoderated boards when I was very young (14-15), and so through that community and connections I got to network w/ him on several occasions. I don't take it one bit that this song has been accidentally composed and that it was never supposed to be on the album...It most certainly has THAT subliminal aspect to it.
This song is so beautiful, it still makes me cry after so many years listening to it... :)

The year of this performance, my daughter was 11, already much a stranger to me, since she stayed in Coastal Georgia 2000 miles round trip from where I went to work. My son, 9. I felt lucky to have transitioned from temp work to part time minimum wage work in a northern Chicago suburb. With the help of cognitive behavioral therapy, my PTS syndrome was not to bad. Our relationship, my sweetheart's and mine, was still real to me. Today my daughter is beyond seas & mountains, my son still a thousand miles away, & my love is gone & maybe never was (real); she was gas-lighting me all along, in between bouts of niceness probably meant to lure me in or back so she could abuse me more (both physically & emotionally). But this music I find very healing. Very much so. And I am simply thankful for life. Thank you.
