FIXED! Galaxy Note pro 12.2 screen flicker and battery charge issues

So far the note is charging fine and seems to be working like it should. Time will tell if this is a permanent fix...
Update: It has been working flawlessly for 2 days. The poor connector design was definitely the issue for me. I think unplugging the battery, holding the power button for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in just masked the problem. It re-positioned the loose pins to give them better contact. That is why it worked temporarily and why soldering the connections fixed it.
