He is such a cool producer.. I have been doing remake videos of many electronic music artists for awhile, however, he was the first artist that commented on my Glutes remake video and actually explained how he made the sounds in the track. He is just a humble and great guy...
What a man!! It's so good to see big profile artists like him sharing knowledge and opening their "secrets" and help shape the new generation of producers. Patrice is a legend and his recent activity online has been so inspiring!!! Thank you for that man and keep delivering these amazing tunes and shows, much love!
As someone who is driving themselves insane trying to manage tracks with 200 layers the fact he gets the sound and dynamics he does with just 10 elements is mind blowing and super inspiring. His process is so good.
This was amazing! Thanks so much Patrice for being so open and honest in your approach and explanations, and also for Beatport for starting this amazing series. I would love to add one comment or "constructive criticism" if it's ok, to consider for your future episodes - I wonder if you could consider having another camera, or moving the camera position, so that we can see the "hands" of the artist ..... especially when they are using effects, filters, modulations, etc. I would love to be able to visually see what the artist is doing as we hear the effects. Can't wait to follow the series!
Great video, awesome producer, and fantastic idea. Looking forward to the next episode in the series. Hopefully we can get better audio quality and closer screen share when demonstrating their daw. Overall, I love this!
Amazing insight into his process. One question: How does he freeze his return track with the delay on at 12:35? I only know how to freeze a track when I want to flatten it. There's a 'freeze' button on the Ableton stock reverb which does this for reverb, but I have no idea how to do it for delay (or any other effect/plugin for that matter), can anyone help?
Kann mir das eventuell einer erklären, auf welcher spur der das Effekt Tool drauf hat? Ist Dier Spur auf einer Sent Spur oder auf einer normalen Spur. Danke

Exactly !! I was looking for the same thing did you find the answer to this ?
@@geetkataria6789 I've found that Ableton's ping pong delay has a freeze function
Loving that Sylenth skin. Anyone know where to grab it?
Great approach
Why is there so less screen so i can see what he does?(full screen please) I have seen those faces before...
Haha wow. At 12:26 how's he freezing and outputting that ping pong delay effect?
Anyone know the pad preset he used in this demo? I can see it as a preset but hard to make out the text from the video.

Kann mir das eventuell einer erklären, auf welcher spur der das Effekt Tool drauf hat? Ist Dier Spur auf einer Sent Spur oder auf einer normalen Spur. Danke
Interesting video but please show more of the screen. We don’t need to see two dudes sitting in front of a computer
dope video but pretty lame that the camera was on their faces while they looked at the screen instead of just showing us the screen lol

Help! WTF face - 10:12

All that gear and 20 mins of fuckin with a $150 soft synth (Synlenth1).
This guy obviously uses a ghost producer. He doesn't have an idea of what he's doing.
R u serious?
Auto Correct, This guy obviously doesn't use a ghost producer. He has an extensive idea of what he's doing
