- So FINALLY!! We are graced with Kafka's voice lines! And today I'm here to present it to you~

English Dub Kafka is the exact midpoint between 'perpetually exhausted thirty-something single mother', 'intergalactic criminal mastermind', and 'antagonist who gets a bit too excited for combat'. It's a rare combination but wooooo boy does it work.
Her voice actress does a really good job
She sounds like someone whose dtf but might kill you if you did something wrong

I think I realized something.
Kafka likes velvet coats because they're difficult to maintain, she prefers to look at the fierce waves closer than the pier allows, and loves watching Blade fight. She doesn't feel fear, and all these things she likes are things people avoid *because of fear* . So why would Kafka be drawn to those things? Because they're all dangerous, in some way. She likely watches Blade from closer than most people would, and I doubt someone with such a fixation for how much care velvet coats need would like them that much. So I think that while she doesn't feel fear, she *does* feel the adrenaline; and that's why she's drawn to them.
It also helps explain how she's so good at creating fear. Because of her lack of it, she's willing to create or participate in scenarios where no sane person would, because *they'd be too scared to do so* . And when someone sees that they think, "Why the hell would she do those things?"; and I believe they'd come to two answers: either she's crazy, or those situations don't represent danger to her; and the latter suggests that Kafka herself is more dangerous than those situations. No matter the answer, the conclusion is that Kafka is someone they should stay away from, because she represents danger to their safety. And THAT'S likely one of the reasons she's good at creating fear.

From this essay and a half, I think Kafka doesnt really feel or see fear like normal people. Its like her kind of fun and way of living life to its fullest potential.
This is the perfect explanation for “I am not in danger; I AM the danger”

There is something about Kafka's voice that separates her from other mommy characters, I can't explain it but when she speaks it's like being force to listen to her even if your not trying. If she talks you will listen.
right? her voice has something that makes people drawn to her. Just the right amount of something and an unknown of something placed and moved into our heads and just does the trick, just unexplainable.
