They still have to pay for everything and everyone even though filming has been shutdown temporarily for any reason, it also delays the release date and the studio needs to start making the investors and their own money back asap. I work in the industry so know what the other person means when they said “it can cost them millions”

So they can allow him to do whatever he wants, but they can't ask it of him without safety procedures and equipment in place to mitigate the possibility of injury.
Bruh minor or not, celebrity or not, no one can ask you to do an action that could potentially hurt you. If someone force you to do it and you are injured, then you can technically sue them.

He was quippy with lower level stuff in his movies. I think the lack of quips with bigger threats was to show how hes in over his head and starting to realize it. You can see it in the ferry scene in homecoming where hes quipping around until the ferry starts to split and he goes into "oh shit" mode.
If only there were some known technology that would enable a character to do a flip or fly or otherwise move in ways the actor really can't. Getting only actors who could really fly to play Superman was really hard.
Whoever scouted Tom for this role is an absolute genius! He is absolutely adorable but also kind of dorky even though he is so far from that. Girls and the gays want him and guys want to be friends with him. If you dislike this man you have serious problems.

no, that was a costume from Wardrobe, they didn't have the Spidey suit yet but they do have draft outfits specially for those auditioning for the MCU at that point in the franchise. i remember the spoiler set reports, then later confirmed by Tom himself, that of all the shortlisted actors that day, Tom was the only one who had the physicality of Spiderman. we all thought he offered to flip in just his street clothes then say the Spidey lines because that's pretty darn impressive in and of itself, but now seeing the BTS where they actually fitted Tom in a draft costume, heck no wonder Evans and the Russos were speechless 😅🤯. is this kid actually Spiderman IRL?? 🤩
@@deddrz2549 iirc they actually had a real Spidey suit, but it's the Peter "homemade Spidey suit" version. the Stark Spidey suit is CGI yeah, but at the time of Captain America Civil War, they actually had a red Spidey suit with some tracking bands. they went full CGI grey pajamas later on, like after Civil War and Homecoming iirc.
Because he can do his own flips and looks quite young, it feels like the same person under the suit. Whenever Raimi Spider-man is suited up it doesnt feel like Tobey underneath at all.

For his safety. Thats why they have stunt doubles and will sometimes CGI in some flips and stuff. Having Tom doing most of his own stunts also saved them a bunch of money.
Its funny cause as my own opinion , tobey who i saw in theaters was not my spider man cause of the story being very sad and it was like a 25year old trying to be a teen so hard. I felt like both Tobey could do the Spiderman part really well, but he was too old to play Peter and he wasn't my favorite Peter. I saw the movie in the theater too. Andrew was better as Peter, but I didn't think he was as good of a Spiderman as Tobey. Tom is perfect at both. That is my opinion anyway. I would still gladly watch any Spiderman movie and loved the three of them together. So in the end I think it was meant to be with all of them.
