Beautiful collection! Use a water meter. It will become an invaluable resource for you. No more guessing! Good luck.

Try waiting until the soil on all your snake plants is very dry and crunchy

That dried up stick is the remainder of an old flower stalk. You can just pull that out.

I’m like you, a convert. I didn’t use to think my of sansevierias but now I’m a fan. I have quite a few of them and I also do not know the names of most of them. Sorry I can’t help you. When I catalog my plants, I will look up the names.
I enjoyed this clip, as always. I love your enthusiasm!

I loved the one you called fernwood, and looked it up on line, and saw many pics that looked like your first fernwood. I might have to get me one. 😉 I've heard that when you pot them in terracotta, you can often water every 2-3 weeks. But my snake plants are in ceramic pots...and I usually water about once a month. Wow, I love your whale fin (or shark fin)...it bugs me that they keep changing names on our plants.

I know! We all know it's a whale fin so why would they call it a shark fin 🤔

watering once a month is probably your best bet, unless you have it in no light then maybe every two months....hope that helps!

Thanks for the tips! I watered every single one of them after filming this video and they look so much better. I can't believe it! Definitely got to water that more often

I have a straight zelandica, I think, that I took as a leaf cutting twenty five years ago at my first lesson at horticultural college. It has been divided many times, my sister has three huge plants of it and I have a couple too. I also have a "Moonshine" (not sure of the name) which is a big division that a friend gave me this year. I absolutely love them both. 💚

When the cylindrica grows up and have pups, they won't stay straight up, and will fan out like the one u showed in the beginning. Nurseries will cut individual stems and arrange them vertically straight because that's what people want them to look like. They are the same plant.

Oooh a girl after my heart!! I love sansevieria. I found my fernwood at home depot as well. I only water mine once a month. Hopefully I'm not under watering it but so far so good!! 😊🪴

Watering once a month is way more than I do! I definitely got to get on top of it. I'm so afraid of root rot now!
