This is a jewel. His voice ,his phrasing,the depth of what he's able to feel. Perhaps here ,he's better than anybody else ,Siepi included. I adore this artist.He had everything. A huge talent. This is a masterpiece, a warhorse for the bass of the Golden era. (Concerti Martini&Rossi , Melodram) ....

He sounds more like a bass than a baritone. His gravitas is proper of a bass voice.
