Ranked is unplayable because of activision and the pros. Now with the MCW nerfed all smgs outgun the mcw. Also to add ghost bullets are even more prominent because not only the servers are tanking but the mcw is a pea peashooter now!
Can we just go back to perks, stuns and nades.. no attachments? Just red dots or silencers....... I'm old school.
I dont even care about making the sub worse, but objectively speaking the sub kills in less time and bullets than the mcw at long range, thats the problem. I don't understand how theres even an argument to keeping things the same way they are. Maybe add high grain back to the mcw or un do the iron sight GA. idk but for the subs to sit here and act like theres no issue is crazy to me
If they wanna keep ranked on the CDL ruleset we gotta get non current pros controlling what happens with GAs/maps/weapons.. The fact that pro don't even try some of the new maps is criminal, not only for the ranked players but for the viewing experience which is the whole reason they have a job in the first place.. Please Octane save me from ever having to watch or spawn into sub base, highrise, or invasion ever again

@LeoDube9 optic has content production written into their contracts. Without the viewership, there is no league. It is their job to bring viewers. There are no other million dollar tournaments without the cdl or maybe cwl... they wouldn't be making nearly as much as they are.

I actually thought the issue was because it requires a 9-3 split.....teams that aren't even trying can control whether a weapon gets removed etc.
After comparing stats with TrueGameData, the Ram-9 and MTZ-556 with clinch barrel and optic seems to be a potentially really good replacement meta. No weird headshot multipliers, sub moves faster and kills faster close range, and ar is more accurate and kills faster at long range
NO! We cannot have an average Joe deciding the meta, unless you've won minimum 5 championships, 2 rings, played on optic/faze, you can't talk about ga!! /s

Rival's only balanced cause the maps are dogshit terrible. Even with 2 sub heavy maps that leaves highrise, invasion, and sub base. Skid and Karachi are pretty balanced between the two. so that's sub maps: 4 and AR maps: 5. Sounds balanced to me.
The rival is not balanced it kills faster than the mcw at long range that should not be allowed

If it was that good I would run it every game, but I don't because I wouldn't win half the engagements I do with the MCW. You run the Rival on highrise then come back and tell me it's better 💀

@@brendanoconnell1821 Bro where do you get these clips?? No sub is ever smoking an AR off of fire car on invasion. Teams still run four ARs on Sub base and Invasion. If it were that incredibly broken, they'd be running four subs instead. The AR just needs to be a four headshot kill again and then it will be just fine. Nerfing the Rival or GAing attachments is just going to make the already horrible maps worse for subs. No matter how good the thing is the maps are still full of head glitches and long lanes, they're AR MAPS.

@@chuckiesrus1399 SVA has a crazy ttk for a long range. I think it's a little bit too strong. Even though the ttk revolves around hitting the first two shots of the hyper shot
I used the sva the last half of season 1 and it was good but not OP it was better at range than mcw but worse up close and you needed to be able to control the recoil to be good with it. Maybe if you’re crimson or above but I never saw it absolutely dominating maps below that division. It wasn’t super popular from what I saw. Season 1 ironically was the best so far even with the map issues. The variety was better and the game was more fun. Now everyone only uses the mcw, rival, or hides in a corner with a swarm and a 100rd drum. It’s boring af.
you should only have like 3-5 items to GA... if they want to add something, then something has to come back, this allows people to proritize whats important

GA's are too hard this year , why ban things when you can take advantage of and try different things ..The problem come from the maps, you can't make a fair game if your maps can't be played in multiple ways

some teams benefit more from running 3 subs or 3 ar's so thats why there is always a discrepancy in voting.

The only way to fix that is bring back ban/ protect just like bo3 and just no shotguns and no lmgs. all problem fixed

MTZ556 Casus Brake, Clinch Pro Barrel, Sight of choice, Marauder stock, Assault rear grip. Try it. Use purifier muzzle too and if you take off sight use sp-10 angled grip

The “meta” of cod competitive is completely different to almost any other game in the sense that the pros meta is the most BALANCED weapons not the most broken like other games would be

Why does it have to be 8-4 vote, just have it the one who the most votes wins. Example if 7 teams votes a gun out, so dumb that we have keep the votes going even if we got most the votes for a gun gone
Pros should not be making these calls. Just play the game. Let every AR and Sub in and just play. This just creates cry babies and drama for no reason.
if we did it as other league do it like the nfl its the owners that make the decisions. Most professional leagues have so many rules it unbelievable. The nfl official rulebook is 85 pages long.
All guns should be on the table. The last few years of COD tourneys are garbage. The same AR and SMG on all teams. Boring. No snipers. Boring. GA’s are hot garbage. Variety keeps the game interesting. I rarely watch anymore because the games are a snooze fest.
Are the games actually a snooze fest? This game has had the most reverse sweeps and nail biters this year. Yeah guns and GAs limit the experience but games have been far from being a “snooze fest”
Yeah I'd love watching someone pull out a shotgun or lmg.... no not all guns should be on the table there should however be space for a 3 gun meta like bo4 and iw where a flex runs a particular weapon then the main ar and the sub. Snipers won't be back until there is no aim assist on them.

I think running same guns is preserving the way old school CoD use to be. When it use to be about aim & not about guns. When being good was about you, not the gun.

I’d really love if they had an official rule set, and standards, and some maps they have on consistent rollout through all games: Firing Range, and Raid would be good starts.

i think its more even then drama speaks, shotzy could of perform same as simp and there are still 2 mcw on each team. if Rival was a lot better everyone would be using it but they didn't as an optic fan wanting shotzy to win. running the MCW shouldn't be easy, if the public chooses... everyone in ranked uses MCW in every single map. if theres a problem they should allow something like the jak BFB sight to make it more even. MCW should be allowed range and killing from 1 sector of the map to another sector. if tournaments can just do a public check and see if anyone is using Chronus or cheat files. update the game to see cheats before people go to their seats play a game and allow the game to see how things run normally end the game. and allow the players to go to their seats and start the match to see if the game prior can detect cheats of chronus. because what im seeing is everyone is using chronus getting banned on cod.

Ranked play should be fair competition, not loose 3 games because an update made a gun overpowered and you didnt catch the news. Thats bullshit and absolutely not competitive at all.

Not defending Haggy but all the pros thinks it’s OP. Haggy was trying to find a solution and one of the suggestions was Ram 9 and Holger but pros roasted him for that.

@@kizzjwith all headshots ya it’s 3, at long range it’s about 4-6 depending where your shots are landing, but that’s where it should excel its an AR. You’ll also get deleted by a smg at close range bc of the slow rate of fire. I think it plays the AR role well

Just make the MCW have a HS multiplier again because rival beats it at any range now granted you hit your shots. It’s ridiculous making it need 5 fucking headshots to kill. Shit was fine the way it was now we got a piss poor AR, THE ONLY AR, so now the rival looks incredibly good, it’s looking at the rest but not looking at the main issue…

If alle guns are available (except cheap shit like shottys etc.) and everyone can use for example Holger, BP50 and ram9 every player has the same advantages. Then it comes down to who is just more skilled. Why aren’t they using these three guns.. long range ar(Holger) mid range at (BP) close range amg (ram) wouldn’t this solve the “problem” or am I tripping?

Everything was fine for half a year when there’s Shit-Base HP, SnD Terminal, Highrise Control but now that Rio and Vista allow players to comfortably stack subs it’s a tragedy?
