Mike Stivitz got way too much of a pass when this series ran. While Archie was always the bigot, Mike was portrayed as the reasonable "enlightened" alternative. But in reality, he WAS a freeloader, he was a glutton, he was a bit of a selfish insufferable jerk.
Everybody loves to peg Mike as a freeloader, but he did make restitution to Archie in an episode while the Stivics were living next door. Both Mike and Archie kept tabs on what was owed, and although they had conflicting figures, Mike cut a check and paid up.
I don't think Mike was any of those things! I think he was the classic Malcolm X white liberal that thought he was helping the black man but he was just as ignorant as Archie was in many respects!
This title is misleading. His student came on to him, and he tells Archie he realizes he was asking for it. At that point Archie passes out, before Mike confesses that he did not cheat on Gloria, and got out of there before anything "imminent" happened. This is all in the description above. Why the click-bait title? That said, this is one of the funniest Archie-Meathead scenes ever, and a great episode.
Yeah, but also people are misleading saying that Gloria cheated on Mike. She only went out with the married guy. They were never implied that she had sex with him but yeah people are trying to pass a lie. That she cheated on Mike See how that goes? But that’s men for ya 😆

Wow! The video quality here is a whole lot better than my DVD version of this episode! The DVD is blurry and distorted, oh well. Was there a "remastered" DVD set of All In The Family I didn't know about? What a huge difference.

Cut off before Oh! My Papa (O Mein Papa). Next morning when Archie telling Edith that Mike cheated on Gloria since he passed out before Meathead finish his story saying nothing happened. Then next thing I know Eddie Fisher was singing Oh! My Papa (O Mein Papa)😂😂

I don't understand the whole women not being attractive while pregnant. I still went to town just as frequently during both of my wife's pregnancies and she was more than willing/up for it as well. One of the few good things about being married to my now ex-wife.
They remind me of my (Subcontinental) Indian Boss. He was actually born here in The States. Whenever Wifey is out of town, he invites ME over to babysit him, while he drinks Vodka All night. I Mean...HE is TERRIBLE! He pours Two shots into a soda, at a time, drinks it down Quick, then comes back for more less than half an hour later. He listens to the same Billy Joel/Michael Jackson Video over and over, and BS's about wanting to take me on a Vacation. ONE time, he even invited me to go to a Mexican restaurant with him...but HE (in his Very Compromised State) wanted to do the DRIVING! I got the Heck out of THERE.

They were great at what they did but it was off how he could free load and then tell Archie about what was right and wrong in life each day. lol
