The most important point at this price point is comfort also. We take Mercedes or BMW like cars mainly for the comfort they provide and tiago is more comfortable than swift or nios like cars mainly on long run and bad roads. The more people will know that fact more tiago we will see on roads. After knowing tiago fully no one will buy swift or nios like cars for sure.
100 percent , i have drive my tata tiago 630 km from bangalore to goa one side and ride was exteremly comfortable and highly stable at 100km/hr speed .
Maruti has got everything superb. I didn't know about safety when I got my alto. But when you take it out on road with family u get scared because of safety. Overall it becomes zero . It's ok if I get little less space or mileage. But I would not compromise on my n family safety. long live Tiago. From an Alto owner. My next car will definitely be a Tata. I request maruti to do better on build quality. Nothing can beat it.

Cars like Punto went unsold! Cars like Abarth Punto had to be sold at 2.5-3 lakhs discounted price!! Car like Toyota Etios Liva got ignored and even VW Polo too was never in a peak position in the market!!!

1. swift is a 4 cylinder engine carrying a weightless tin. if swift having actual metal body, then the weight will increase, mileage will be near 15kmpl.
2. if swift give quality, then the price will increase by atleast 2 lakhs.
3. tiago is the spacious one in real life, you can see the numbers in difference of 2 to 7 cm . but interior arrangement is better.
4. NVH IS LOW IN SWIFT, but the low built quality increase the vibration without noise will create problem in our body.
please think twice before conclude.

I am from Nepal, I recently bought 2nd hand Tiago xz 2018 model for Nrs 20 lakh which is Inr 12 lakh. If i would hv bought swift 2018 it would cost me around 14.5 lakh INR just coz suzuki & hyundai has high resale value. But I am proud to buy the safest car and not swift which touches the ground in hills. But Tiago’s number is seen increasing on road here day by day. Good work Ratan Tata🥰

I had very bad experience with buying tiago in 2019. Partly due to the user's bad driving habbits. Mileage was just around 15 . cousin had a very serious accident on it and sure the build quality had a lot to with him being came out with just minor injuries..
But the service centre experience was just ridiculous. Had to wait 8 months to get the car back. Even after that the repair work was just rubbish. No quality in finishing the body work, it felt like the body and interior was put together by some nursery kids. After the repair while driving i was feeling like driving an ape goods auto. Suspension was not working, the noice levels was high, vibrations was high . now had to go to service centre again, it's been over 1.5 months. Still no developments. Pretty sure it's gonna take 2-3 months to get the car.
So my experience.
Good car with excellent safety
Rubbish after sale service.
Before buying tiago make sure you have a reliable service centre to go to.
I'm not buying tata cars again just because of the ridiculous service centre experience.
