This is a little gem. I’ve loved the McGarrigles since their first album landed in England like a spacecraft from another world. Beautiful alien sounds and distinctive harmonies weren’t like anything around, although we knew their songs as performed by Linda Ronstadt and Maria Muldaur.
Their sound is timeless and feeds the soul. Although Kate is gone and they have been surpassed by Rufus and Martha on the public stage, they remain valued intensely in the hearts of those who love them.
