I believe that your chosen power adaptor (adpv26B) is the switching type rather than the linear type. Does it matter which type of power adaptor you use for cars?
I believe you're overthinking it. The vehicle's computer is powered by what must already be a dirty power source - the battery and all the underhood components. Yet the computer produces 5v com bus signals that are clean. I'm not an electronics engineer but it would seem logical to me that the computer has it's own filtering. Also it probably doesn't matter given the minimal power required to keep alive the RAM and power an LED or two. But I always welcome additional information.
Good information, thanks for sharing.
Always a new leason and now a new intro.
