You may not be the "police" of the industry, but you are certainly an ardent advocate for it. Your empathy for your students is admirable.

I’ve been in the industry a long time but always find much value from watching your videos. Love your style of teaching!

It's obvious that you have a passion for what you do, it's infectious! I wish I could spend some time with you working, just talking to you and watching the videos has been helpful, I've learned a few new things. And as you have mentioned, the car business is ever changing and evolving, we need to keep up with the changes too! Thanks for all the videos and for sharing your expertise. Only one complain ... no music this time!

Your passion on this subject is very clear. Hopefully, it will have an impact on those distributing repair products. And I'm sure the men in your current class are grateful for your training.

We would absolutely want to do that! That's the kind of opportunity we've been hoping would eventually come around. I also wanted to thank you for your tip a few videos ago about double filtering when using flattener. We were getting so frustrated with those tiny pieces of debris on our painted surfaces. We thought it was dust in the air or lint from our rags. We would remove and repaint and they would came back. That solved this issue immediately. Thank you!

The opportunity cost to sit in these training sessions that provide little to no value is high. You're paying travel and training fees and you're not doing any billable work. I think you know what you need to do Rick. You seem like you're at a point in your life that you can do it also. I'd encourage you to take the bold steps necessary to accomplish your vision. You're a masterful technician. Masterful musician. And I think you'd be a masterful instructor. Do it.

It's an invitation for others to benefit themselves. Will they see it? Thank you for the kind words.

Are you considering the possibility of offering training? If so, count on us.

Most companies nowdays are short sighted and favor that quartarly number over the long-term reputation of their brand. Conniving salesman get promoted, while long-view intelligent technical people are frustrated and either leave to start their own company (becoming more difficult by the day), loose hope and plod along (sad), or retire (bad, America needs you!). Open sourcing methods doesn't detract from repair people desiring a convenient product to make the job quicker and easier, which is more ethical than repackaging an otherwise off-the-shelf product and calling themselves engineers. Gone are the days of my father and grandfather who truly inovated, while the technology that could exponentially improve our lives is locked up somewhere. -end rant

Yes indeed. Quick money. I've enjoyed the rant too and was glad though to follow up with something constructive if it helps. Probably won't make a dent in the universe. 😜😜

I feel this inflation is hurting our business big time. I work mostly dealerships-bread and butter. My weakness is sewing, but I am watching all your videos, and my brother is showing me. We go as the car dealerships go, retail is ok, but it is not my bread and butter and steady work. How are others doing in this business the pass 4 years with this Biden administration failed policies and inflation?
