It would be a good idea to name locations and perhaps a map? Very good videos and down to earth!
2:53 That lady placing the toddler precariously on the ferry's railings. One mistake the boy would be a goner. How stupid can a person be.
Nice video mate, been watching you for a while now, if I may ask, where in queenscliff was this? I'm really keen to give it a try, thanks
Check aki mangionas thread in the comments
Hey Mick, Great video and really useful tips. By the way, where can I get a sling bag like the one Diego is wearing?
Thanks mate most tackle shops should be able to order one in mate.
Good video, maybe next time if you could go over and explain the techniques you're using to catch them. Also do they live in sand or rocky areas? Thanks :)

Made by Hornes that do the Waders ask at most good tackle stores.

19:31 RIP Reel
Haha and my lapel Microphone
Nice what beach is that?
Its to the right of quenscliffe lightouse. Theres a screen shot from the camera that you could match up on arrival.
Some months are better than others. This was a hot session thats not necesarily the norm.
Ideally you want to fish as close to low tide as you can and wade further out as the current wont rip through as hard.
Looks like there casting into the weed or just short of it. The closer you can cast your jig to the weed the better. The squid will settle in the weed areas for cover but will exit onto the sand if they notice your jig. The depth in the area is 3 to 5 metres.
If you want to extend your squid fishing trip in the area queenscliff pier fishes pretty well too. Fish the south side/ocean side of the pier.
The pier can get extremely busy from evening into the night. If you can get there an hour or 2 before sunrise you'll have the pier to yourself.
It fishes well until about an hour after sunrise. Youll see the squid marks on the pier which will indicate the better spots but ultimately the whole pier fishes pretty well for squid although it isnt known for other species.
@@frazbro27 There's a couple of lighthouse's there. The Black and the White also Point Lonsdale Lighthouse. Would any of those bays have squid?
love the video but you shouldve put the squid out of there misery
