For all of you homesteader types or even just home gardeners.
    1. The plant looks nice from a distance.
    2. The plant is supposed to repel colorado potato beetles.
    3. The plant is easy to grow and easy to get seeds from.
    4. I personally have thrown seeds around that I just got for 50 cents a pound at a grocery store and the plant grew easily and reseeded the following year by itself. No tilling. No digging. It was bad soil.
So there is more cost in not growing it, potentially.

Thank you for this thorough explanations of the process. I think the music is too loud and at times I couldn't understand a word here and there. I wish that the whole UA-cam community of content creators did not use music at all; or to keep it low, way too low so that the spoken words are not lost. Thanks.

What a nice video. I’m curious, is flax more cost-effective than cotton?
