I've always loved this song, and always wanted to know that feeling. I never thought I was going to though... Until a little over 2 months ago that is. My boyfriend and I went on our first date, and I had never been so comfortable with anyone before. During the movie, he held my hand and they fit together perfectly. A few weeks later we became official boyfriend/girlfriend. I know there are a lot of people out there who don't believe in God, or have their issues with Him if they do believe in Him... Everyone is free to believe what they want. But for me, I believe in and live my life for God, and I believe wholeheartedly that He made me and my boyfriend to be together. I've had my heart broken a couple of times so I had some really strong trust issues, and it wasn't easy for me to open up to anyone let alone a guy. But this guy broke through all of my walls and has made me so safe and secure. His arms are home to me and I have never felt that before. I've been in like before, but never in love. It's the greatest feeling ever! And I pray that everyone knows that feeling!

This song goes out to a boy who broke my heart, make me cold, and left me alone. He was my best friend, but he came back. I almost lost to him because he almost killed himself, and now, we've been together for almost 9 months, and he makes me so happy. This goes out to the love of my life.

I know life can throw some difficult situations & circumstances at people from time to time & it seems like the hole your sliding in gets to deep & that it feels like someone is shoveling dirt on top of you, no matter how far you climb toward the top, you don't seem to get anywhere. I can tell you this though, 1 of the most selfish things, to me, my opinion, is for someone to commit suicide. Not saying anything about anyone who has lost friends/family to suicide, cause a friend of mine took their life. It's just that, they don't take time to think of what/who they are leaving behind, to have to face the world & put 1 foot in front of the other without them in our lives anymore. It just sucks to me & I'm not in anyway, shape or form being mean. Suicide is never the answer to anything, I myself would talk to anybody at anytime about anything they feel they can't share with the world & they feel like nobody cares, well I care, especially enough to just LISTEN. I think we should all make time...

I found this song during my recovery from an unfortunate miscarriage of our first baby. This song really helps me to go through the pain of loosing. The lyrics resonates with me as if the baby was talking to me how she/he felt.. "You put your arms around me and I'm home" as if that's how was the baby felt whenever I rub my belly and talking to it every single day.
Sorry for your loss. Not sure if you are aware, but Christina lost a baby as well. She's talked about it. You'll find by searching.

I had similiar problems to you two. So I completely understand and share the problem to open up described in this song and the feeling to wait for the someone who simply understands you without any explaination, who can look through your walls and see all the things you are to scared to say. To ignore that you say, "go away" while you secretly want him to stay or even come closer but your fear lets you say the opposite. Someone who just loves you how you are in your uncommon way and doesn't force you to anything. Who doesn't blame you for being sad, lonely or far away with your thoughts sometimes. I’m 11 and I’ve been through verbal abuse ever since I was 3 I know I’m young for depression but I was diagnosed with it last year by an actual doctor (so no I’m not self diagnosing) i have had a lot of times where I physically just wanted to fall asleep and never wake up but this song has kept me from doing it it gives me faith I’ll find someone who will understand and help me other then say I’m faking and spread rumours about me

What a great music video. I dig the way they incorporated the 16mm projector in with the presentation of the lyrics. Simple physical animation. I did that for a 16mm film once. Only a camera head would understand the true brilliance.
