I had a roommate in college... he got burned really badly. Scars all over half of his face. People always asked him what happened, and he never told the same story twice. Me? I never asked him what happened. I never treated him like he was anything other than a human being.
We were roommates for three years. The year he was graduating, he came to me and said I was the only person who never asked him what happened, and who never looked at him funny. He said he had mad respect for that, and he told me the real story.
It was awful, and it's not my place to share it. But let it be a lesson. It doesn't matter what we look like on the outside... inside, we're still human beings.

I know many people who didn't look good and we're always bullied and eventually turned into heartless people cause no one would accept them as they were and some who just were happy with themselves and were the apple of everyone's eye...and many attractive people who were so proud of their looks that turned them into self glorifying ignorant's and vice versa

This on my dad's account. I was listening to some of my songs when I noticed my dad had watched this video fully. I was curious so I clicked on the video and by the end I was crying from confusion. I love this song but it has made me think of all the arguments between my mom and my dad and how my dad never cries in any of them. At first I thought that my dad listens to this song to train himself to not cry under pressure. I asked him about it and he said he indeed has depression which he had not told me about. I have now realised how ignorant I have been about his feelings and how I have treated him horribly almost all my life.
