Something i'm noticing is that these older builds had a lot of subtle animation work that looks really natural that isn't in the current version of the game, and the only reason i notice them is because the nice animations stick out like a sore thumb when looking at the rest of the pre-alpha jank
Yes you are correct, I posted about that in the previous video JL did. On one hand I feel like they did not deliver on that promise of smooth animations the way the older builds were hinting at. On the other had they implemented a true physics system that gave the player more control but as a consequence had more still/stiff animations. Plus they lost their animations dude. So 1.0 will only see minor improvements to the animations that will most likely be a result of just tweaking the physics really.
@@davidespejo7255 they’re moving the game to unreal 5 when it comes out and that will allow animation mapping so they don’t have to make new animations for switch stance skating in unreal 5. It’s just gonna save them a lot of time and work to do it after the game launches
Believe that was the trade-off they did when they went for a more Physics based system. While the skater animations are not nearly as clean and smooth, the board flipping in later versions is the best I've seen in any game.
I'm loving Session history week so far! Funny how in this build you really can't guarantee that you'll land a trick, I think that's why the S.K.A.T.E tourney worked so well, good times!
The content that we are gonna at 1.0 if we bought the preview on Xbox if I rebuy it for series xs deluxe edition will I get that stuff or I'm just hoping thats it going to be the same game for last gen as next then I won't rebuy it u think they pay as much attention to last gen version as next gen and pc
Everything is going to be the same for every platform. Obviously newest gen consoles will run some games better but the content will be the same (they plan to optimize Session for older consoles )
What are the current settings for good treflips, I played today on Xbox and it looks so bad kind of like a 360 shuv doesn't look like a legit 3 flip . Help me

@@Sumunuhriginal Wow this is a depressing comment to come back to a year and a bit later...
I'm like a crazy waiting for this update! I can't imagine how much more it is for you.
Hahaha i loved that flashback with Nightspeeds, those were the days
Oh man I got so good at this build. Genuinely dropped 100 hours or so into this build. My favorite of the early builds. So much fun!

damn! looks so fun! can't wait to play this on the 22nd
So excited for 1.0
It’s like getting into a time machine, when watching what Session used to look like. It’s literally night n day. 😂👏🏼
dude the louie barletta trailer looks as good as a skate game has ever looked.
360 flip is difficult back to the old school generation of tricks and control the board and flipping the rotations
You made Kickstarter looks good
And that's the one you want.
Tbh, the first builds doesn't look that dope for me. This one would have got me hype 💯 Thx to all that helped this game go so far!
Animations are so much nicer in this old version specially the treflips

Make sure you have Flip / Scoop sync ON in the advanced settings. Usually Tre flip don’t look good with Sync Off and auto catch.
@@JLNightmare damn I should have thought of that, thanks JL really appreciate this content and tips, so excited for it to drop 🔥🔥
@@JLNightmare it worked now I feel the vibes 🔥🔥💰
sessions going far when i see this
People are going to hate you for saying manual catch is easy now 😂
If they tried this version of the game then went back to 0.0.0.72, they would be PRO at manual catch in 20 seconds 😂
